So does Flagg's performance raise doubts about him being the #1 pick now
If anything it makes me want him more.
His performance was the best of anyone who played in that final 4 game and he was also the youngest player in that final 4 game.
27 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks, 2 steals, and 1 turnover is an amazing performance for the youngest player on the court.

Yeah, I think I made a post a day or so ago that I didn’t realize he should still be in high school. And he’s basically the player of the year, and he played great. He’s 17-18 on basically the top team. He’s special.

I 100% believe he will bring a title here if we win the lottery

It is funny that Duke's two centers they play got 0 rebounds in 26 combined minutes when Houston got 18 offensive rebounds.
Two things.

1. Has that ever happened in any level of organized basketball?

2. That might be the craziest stat line I’ve ever seen. No rebounds from the center spot while the other team had 18 offensive rebounds and Duke still should’ve won that game.

And 7'2" Malauch is still getting top 10 buzz. I know talent evaluators are way more informed than me, I just don't see how he'd be getting buzz if he played for Vanderbilt or something not next to Flagg

Not that it needed clarifying, but I was talking about this year's team, featuring Cooper "crunch time execution isn't my thing" Flagg and his mom.
Dude is of high school age and looked like a man among boys. Hes already reached a high ceiling and was just named the best player in college basketball. Imagine what he’ll be doing 5 years from now.

But you just go ahead and continue to double down on these idiotic ideas floating around in that head of yours because I’m not sure you realize how dumb you sound when a novice like me can see it

Probably not, but the narrative that he possibly doesn't have the killer instinct of an NBA #1 option will only get stronger. And rightfully so.

As I've been saying all along, Flagg's ceiling is a great 2nd/3rd banana in the league. A dude who does a little bit of everything, but you don't want him to have the ball with 6 seconds left.
Sounds like LeBron…
