Always thought malone was a good coach.
Fire the GM, keep the coach through the playoffs. THEN fire the coach. I think firing both is insane just 4 games out of the playoffs.
Firing a coach who won you a ring isn't shocking? He is, but he is extremely stubborn and abrasive, so he tends to wear on his players and organization, so I'm not particularly shocked by this other than the timing.
Not at all, lots of recent winners no longer with their teams. Add to that when you have the best player in the league, most of the credit goes to that player over the coach- i.e. there are probably 50 coaches that could have won at least one championship in Malone's tenure with the same roster construction. He's a good coach, but in no world is he irreplaceable.Firing a coach who won you a ring isn't shocking?
It should be, but look at Nurse, Vogel, and Bud.Firing a coach who won you a ring isn't shocking?
That’s worked out so well for those organizations lol (Redick has been good but the Lakers went from Vogel to Ham).It should be, but look at Nurse, Vogel, and Bud.
Sure, in the off-season or at the start. Anyone who is saying they aren't shocked by this is full of ****It should be, but look at Nurse, Vogel, and Bud.
The timing is crazy. The ownership is either galaxy brain trying too hard to save the season or they didn't believe they could make a run at all (Murray has been out and maybe he won't be getting healthy). Its super wild.Sure, in the off-season or at the start. Anyone who is saying they aren't shocked by this is full of ****
I agree, but the dude you originally responded to said "I'm not particularly shocked by this other than the timing."Sure, in the off-season or at the start. Anyone who is saying they aren't shocked by this is full of ****
