GAME THREAD: Los Angeles Lakers vs. Utah Jazz

I don't know if it's Al being lazy he's 6-10 about 280-285 and not very athletic as far as flying all over the court. Some players just can't cover as much space as others can.

This is what ESPN has to say about the game so far: "Predicted Bynum would get 24 & 14 tonight"

Favors and Kanter rocked LA. Loved it. Watson was huge. What is up with Burks getting a DNP? He in the dog house?

i think its understandable, because there are 3 guys playing in his same position, bell is somehow a veteran and deserves some mins not more than 20 though, hayward must play, and cj is playing good recently, so hard to find spot for burks especially when howard is there at 3. But he will play anyway in this busy schedule. i think its a good thing burks and kanter getting used to gamestyle of nba instead of taking major mins in their first year, it will be better for them. However i would give them more mins towards the end of year whether we are in playoff track or not.

I discovered a few years ago, its hard to enjoy a game when you nitpick every little thing nitpick at the end of a loss not a win.

Enjoy it we beat the fakers!!

Exactly. If the tides change and twenty years from now we still haven't lost to the Lakers the wins will never get old for me.

Oh I'm going to celebrate this win by getting ****** up on mountain dew and watch Hanna Montana.

the point brown got technical maybe the turning point but after kobe made a few shots and closed the gap, it is nice to see we didnt let them win, if it was the jazz last year or the year before, we would have let them win but this team, even though it is limited comparing to top teams in the league, puts a lot of effort and plays with their heart which is something we didnt see for the last couple of years.

I can't fault Corbin for keeping Bell in the court tonight. I do like to see Burks get time but I thought Bell played tough against Kobe and I'm not sure if Burks would have done that.

Kobe would've seen the rookie a mile a way and used every veteran trick in the book, and gotten extra help from the refs, because Burks is a rookie.

I was not suggesting playing him in crunch time or against Kobe directly. Just suprised at a DNP and not 3-5 minutes or something.

I wish Worthy would stop calling Earl, "Watkins." Jim Hill might want to correct him during one of the commercial breaks. Jim definitely knows Earl's name since he was also the heart of UCLA when he was here. 13 boards each by Milsap and Jefferson. I give Devin a pass on this game - he probably doesn't have a laser guy and his injury might not have healed enough. There were definitely very ugly points in the game, but great effort and fight tonight. I wish I'd recorded the game.
