Following Potential 2025 Draftees

I think it’s a near certainty we would take Flagg, Harper, and Ace at 1, 2, or 3.

At 4, VJ is my guy for the moment.

At 5, I’m opening up to the idea that it may not be Tre. Kas, Fears, and Kon would be the other guys I’d consider there.

Some fun Dylan Harper stats:

- 80% of his made field goals were unassisted
- Took over 8 attempts at the rim per game
- Shot 68% at the rim
- 22 steals in his last 10 games of the season
- Shot 50% on unguarded C&S threes

Harper is my favorite player in the draft class. Flagg is obviously the better prospect and player but I watched more Rutgers than any other team this year and fell in love with Dylan.
Harper is going to be incredible.

I have zero interest in Kas, I don’t know much about Fears, I do like Kon though

Is there any interest in drafting Jase Richardson on this board? He seems like an intriguing player.

I have him grouped with Fears and Traore at the back end of the lottery. They are all high potential players, but have some risk associated with them. With Jace, it's mostly about play making, he didn't show much at Michigan State.

He's probably in the range where he is not in play for our first pick or second pick, and isn't a player type that I would think we would prioritize to move up for.

I just did a little film review (what I could find) for Boogie Fland. I continue to be very high on him and feel like he is being slept on. He is a better defender than I had remembered and one of the better screen navigators in this class.

The risk is that most of his good play came against bad competition, he did play well against some good competition, he just didn't play that many games against high level teams. As a reminder he messed up his hand by his second game in conference play. He really just never had a chance to play many good teams with a good shooting hand. For example, Fears really struggled when he got in to conference play, but had the whole season to figure it out. I think Fland would have done the same.

The film review did show his biggest flaw as someone who can't really finish in the paint when contested. This could potentially limit his upside, but he already has the makings of a nice floater/in between game, and so I'm not really concerned that it will be a huge problem in the league. If he stays in the draft I'm pretty sure he'll be my homer pick. There are quite a few mocks that have him in the second round and he's much better than that. I'm guessing he'll go back to school if he continues to have that kind of draft range, which would be fine so that he can have more opportunities to show out against good teams.

he probably forgot the jazz are still in the NBA.
Younger people on my team at work often talk to me about imposter syndrome.

Which I get, but the world is full of idiots who fail upwards to take inspiration from. If KOC can make millions being **** at covering the NBA with no additional skills or charisma, then don't be so hard on yourself that you don't know something.

I like KOC.

He’s fine. Looks like he’s not doing draft coverage anymore (by far the thing he did that I cared about most) but I’m glad Danny Chau is doing his work now, apparently.
He's definitely still doing draft coverage. Just doesn't focus on it fully til the season is over
