It started before the season. Sad boys are people who always irrationally believe the worst thing is going to happen and the Jazz don’t know what their doing.

For example, when we signed Patty Mills and Drew Eubanks multiple people were saying they were going to start over our young guys and lead us to the 10th pick lol.

In general the types that like to whine for whining sakes. I don’t think we have any over here. They are abundant and ridiculous on Twitter.
 
I'm waiting for Luka Doncic to hit the market after the 25/26 season as a free agent. It's a very low probability, but if Utah picks up Cooper Flag, Doncic could come to Utah to win a title. It would be even more likely if they draft AJ in 2026. Isn't that more realistic for Utah than going after Giannis Antetokounmpo?

It's winning the lottery two years in a row (#1 this year and likely top 2/3 for AJ) plus Doncic not just signing a max extension and going all the way to free agency instead of demanding a trade plus Doncic choosing to join a super young team that was a dumpster fire the previous 4 seasons (not to mention it being Utah) instead of team with a more clear path to contention around him.

I think going after Giannis is way, way more likely, he would be without a doubt the best player the Jazz have had this century.

I think it's at least interesting. I would have went with Keyonte at the end of last year, but I think Cason has separated himself this year. I'm pretty sure I know what you are getting at, that Keyonte has a lot more offensive upside, but I think Cason has become a defensive playmaker and Keyonte continues to struggle with efficiency. I think it's more likely that Cason becomes a good enough offensive player that he would have to be guarded closely in a playoff series than Keyonte becomes a good enough defensive player that he wouldn't be targeted in a playoff series.

Two of the main stats that I think separate them offensively:

- Keyonte is 32.6% on 3.9 pull up 3's per game and Cason is 26.9% on 0.4 pull up 3's per game
- Cason is 65.0% at the rim on 180 fga, Keyonte is 54.5% on 145 fga, both numbers are about 50% assisted/50% unassisted

These are two of the players that I've seen the most of in the NBA. I think it's fair to say that Cason's situation has both enabled him to be the kind of player he has become, but also held him back a little.

YEah, it's an interesting choice. I just think Cason profiles more as a role player and I'm not sure I believe in his shooting.

The odds are in Casons favor of having the better career, but I still think Keyonte has a much higher ceiling and if I was the Bucks I would value that more.
 
my rockets super fan buddies seem to think there’s no way giannis goes to Utah. That he himself will have final say on where he goes.
 
Aren't we worried about Giannis' mid-to-long term prospects? I'm not saying I wouldn't do it... but I think it's not as simple as you guys are making it out to be. You have to be absolutely certain you will be able to build a contender QUICK. You cannot afford to waste even one of Giannis' remaining good years... which lets be honest... we have no idea how many of them remain... He's incredibly reliant on physical and athletic traits to dominate. It doesn't take much of a fall off for it to be very consequential to his game.
