Actually, I like this kind of games. Realistically we have almost no chance to win. So there won't be a huge disappointment when we lose, but will be a big rejoicing if we somehow win. And yes, if NOH can win against us, we can win against OKC. Ok, mathematically it sounds plain bull*** I know(If A>B, B>C then A>C, C being the Jazz obviously). But don't forget that the Thunder are most likely gonna underestimate us. Yes they have the right to do so but in the end that's the fact that they will be cocky. They did underestimate Was, Sac and Clippers and they lost to them.

Our guys on the other hand, should(I hope they will) do everything to live down the NOH shame. Therefore I think there is a good chance(about %3) for the Jazz to make an upset for the OKC Thunder.

Good work MK11..i will be the first one to say it.

"You must spread some reputation around before giving it to MK11 again. "

Thank YOU MK11 - you just made my day a little better

Thanks guys, appreciated. It's enjoying for me, I wish I have more free time to make game threads more frequently, but it takes about more than two hours to make one(I'm not that good to be fast with visual works, image manipulating etc), and almost 30 mins of it goes for posting it.

And by the way please some of us let themselves to make game threads. It doesn't have to be fancy or anything, it's just always better to have a game thread than not to have any and bash about it when some hero finally made it. I didn't neg rep any game thread yet and I promise I won't. I just want to read a game thread when I'm at work.

Just when we thought the question was answered it comes again: "Is Paul Milsap a Starter?"
Atleast the all-star question is settled.

I wonder if Milsap is playing through sometype of injury, or is he tired? Or is it simply that opponents havefigured out how to defend him within the Jazz offense? Hope he gets back soon, but I doubt it will be tonight.

The jazz starters acted like their spirit was broken last night. If they come with a similar effort tonight, and OKC blows them out by 30 or 40 as some suggest, I fear that the Starters will be broken for the season. When that happened last year it got real ugly. Here's to hoping that Coach Corbin can keep the group together and they can see their way through.

Jazz win a close game.

They will come in and play angry basketball.

OKC commits a lot of turnovers, if we are active defensively we should be able to get our hands on the ball, just need to capitalize on the turnovers and take care of the ball ourselves.

However if we allow tons of second chance points it will be for not. We must do a better job at limiting offensive rebounds.

Gordon Hayward will have his hands full on defense vs. Durant, other wings will need to step up on offense, so Hayward can limit Durant somewhat on defense. I don't think we can count on Hayward for our offense as he will be chasing Durant all over the court and trying to keep him out of the paint, where Durant truly takes over games. Durant will get his point outside, but if he lives in the paint he will bury us.

These are my keys to winning this game.

I actually think tonight's game will be competitive.

OKC by 12.

Shutup!

The refs????

If we play hard, we DON'T lose to teams like New Orleans no matter what the refs do.

It's tough when the game you love to watch isn't controlled by anyone actually playing the game... Don't get me wrong, 2-3 games a year, the players can, despite the refs, win a game, but 99.99% of the time it's the Refs who decide who will win the game.

I learned this in 98-99 after we lost to Jordan, it was heartbreaking, I was sad for months because I didn't want to believe it. But, I spent the entire off-season that year in the Himalayas, studying with a team of monks...and as soon as I came to grips with reality, my world was at peace. I knew that Karl and John had nothing to do with the loss, they were chosen to lose by Stern and his League of Extraordinary Douches... As soon as you can come to terms with this fact, Thriller, the sooner your world will be a happier place to live.

OKC valentines day massacre. Happening right here tonight. This will be the signal for koc to realize it's time to finish what he started nearly one year ago.

This is my worst fear right next to the world ending. I am always intrigued by the body-language of the team. I watched all last year after 'the fall' (just to see if somebody could believe in the team, but it really never happened until we pulled out some wins against the Lakers, Hornets and Nuggets in April.

Gonna be at school studying for my physics midterm that I have at tomorrow. Might be able to catch the last quarter if Im lucky. Don't care for a win, I just wanna see a good effort.
