Trade Hayward Please ....

If we are not going to develop him, just give him token starts, at least get something for him.

We are balancing minutes across way too many players.

You say "we". I'd say based on your moniker and the fact that your joined date also happens to coincide with the date of Hayward's first Jazz game, there isn't much "we" in this at all. You couldn't perhaps have an agenda as a Hayward fan and not so much a Jazz fan, could you?

Absolutely a Hayward fan. / butler fan. I follow the jazz as much as the pacers and bulls

Doesn't make my observations false

I do want success for Hayward and I do not think he will have it in Utah this way. Just my opinion

You're right, it doesn't make your observation false, by itself. But what it does do is possibly cloud your judgement some. The fact is, Hayward starts and plays 28 minutes a game. He gets a lot of shots and has the opportunity to handle the ball quite a bit. Despite struggling mightily with his shot at times this season, Corbin has been patient and stuck with him. You say he isn't an integral part of the offense. You could say that about anybody other than Jefferson and since it isn't measurable, it's hard to argue. Doesn't mean you're right. What we do know is that Hayward plays a fair amount of minutes and gets a fair amount of shots.

We are close to agreeing, except for shots.

He avg's 8 per game, which for his minutes is VERY low, considering 1/2 of those 8 are usually transition. He is NOT part of the offensive flow. What I do not know is is it Corbin's offense or Hayward's timidness. Only they know that.

But it seems we dump it in to Al, clear away, see what happens. When Al has a great game everyone here is excited, but you are correct, more than Hayward is suffering.

I like an offense where EVERYONE is in the flow, bigs kick it back out (the ball can always go back in).

Corbin has actually stated we are purposely not shooting the 3 more. Wrong answer. Play inside/out, take the 3's, it is part of the game. The more we shoot , our percentages will go up. Except for Bell, or 3pt is horrible. He puts players in the dog house for airballing 1 3 (Hayward & CJ yesterday). Short leashes = bad play. There was a tweet from one of the Jazz bloggers a few days ago saying several(he did not name) players are afraid to miss shots or they will be pulled.

Another interesting note is that in the 8-10 games Hayward had great offensive pts, he shot at least 12 times and was part of the flow.

I like it when Hayward is playing and taking it in. And I do think they need to give him the ball and make plays. BUt, I really like it , when I get to watch Burks come in and play after play just takes the ball in and go to the ft line. We already know that Hayward will get 30 minutes a night. So why not on a night when there playing the Wizards let Burks have some Burn time? Anyways GO JAZZ!!! 2012 Champs!

In the 8-10 games that Hayward had great offensive points, he was being aggressive. If he continues to stay aggressive, he'll get his shots, but the dude just won't do it consistently. You can't blame that on the coaching staff.

I have no problem with Burks getting minutes. He has earned. them. I would sit Howard/CJ so Hayward/Burks can grow together.

I don't want to trade Hayward, but I'd love to be rid of fake *** fans like you. Consider it a suggestion.

That was a constructive comment. Can't handle the truth, huh.

So I am the 1st person to become a fan of a team because of a player going there ?

Wow, with restrictions like that teams would have 90% empty arenas, get over it.

And yes, since I am a bulls/pacers fan as well I loved it when the Bulls spanked the Jazz in the Finals ... ooohhh so close :p

Get over yourself.

ATTENTION SHOPPERS:

We are having a red dot sale on isle this one. That's right shoppers, just 15 more minutes for the red dot sale. Get it while it's hot.

Haywards role on the team reminds me of AK's. Not a lot of offense ran for them but but added in other areas that don't get much appreciation. When they are aggressive on offense they would have some good games scoring. Andre's problem was he was a main focal point for a year and could not handle having a reduced role. I think Hayward will ultimately be a great player in the role he is asked to do and help the team win.
