Playoff Birth VS Keeping our pick

I think picking up another good young player will help us in the long run a lot more then being being owned 1-4 in the first round by OKC.

I can see the Jazz absolutely sucking for the remainder of the season. March and April are brutal, a lot more away games where we've been downright bad. I wouldn't be surprised if we picked 7th and got Golden State's pick at 8 or
9.

At this point, I don't think the playoffs are even realistic.

I picked 23 wins at the start of the season and I'm thinking I was too optimistic.

I was at 25 wins for the season and if they are able to reach that then it would be amazing. The Jazz are not a contending team and certainly not a playoff caliber team either. The Jazz need about 5 teams to get completely dismantled because of injury in order to make the playoffs.

With all of that being said, why re the young guys not getting more time? Every single one of them has shown the capability to help the Jazz get back into games or actually increase the lead. Suddenly they are subbed out and the team is left wallowing in mediocrity for the remainder of the game. This is a tough pill to swallow.
