What's new

Play Kanter you jerk!

Utah is losing with Al putting up big numbers.

This could actually be the best possible scenario. I'll wait for the trade deadline to pass judgement.

Agree. Jefferson is upping his trade value by averaging 20/10. Let's see what the Jazz can get for him.

None of this changes the fact that Corbin is an incompetent jerk! I like the guy but come on!

9 mintues 4 rebounds, 4 points, a block....was frustrating the hell out of Duncan. Tyrone Corbin you are on my S$%T list and you sir are a jerk!

And I want to add that I really wanted to punch Richard Jefferson in the face after he hit that last 3 with his smug look!

I hate this team right now!!!!

Get it right. He is a turd you Moran.

We are really entering the time when this team needs to develop the young guys. There is no reason for Favors and Kanter to get less than 20 MPG. That they are only getting 10-15 is really a shame. Also I could add Burks to the list of players that should be getting 20 MPG.

I'm not blaming Al, but we aren't trading CJ/Harris/Howard for game changers.

I don't think we are either.

However, I seriously think we need a change at the point. Harris NEVER gets us anything easy. People are blasting Big Al for taking those outside jumpers in the 4th. He made a few........ And missed a key one....

Yet, why are we forced into taking those when we have Devin Harris being defended by Tony Parker? Last I checked, wasn't Harris supposed to be quick? And wasn't Tony a pathetic defender? Yet, the shot clock is winding down and our bigs have to manufacture their own shots since our starting PG NEVER creates.

Maybe we are all going with the assumption that Harris is gone and that everyone needs to pick up their games because of him. Not an excuse but maybe some clarity on the situation.

One thing that no one wants to talk about...

Kanter is a lot more consistent than Favors.

In fact, I'd say that overall, Kanter is having a better year.

With Kanter, you know exactly what you're going to get. With Favors, you don't know whether he's going to get a few dunks and blocks or just turn the ball over and be frustrated.
I have been feeling this for a while now. I know that this is not going to be a popular question, but why not move Favors because of his "potential"? That might get us the best assets in return. I am sure that GS would consider moving Curry for that. Curry would help this team more that Favors could in 2 years form now.

I agree. I absolutely hate Ty's rotations on the big men.
Al + Milsap does not work.
But hey, I'll take games like today...just don't want 20 point losses.
Big Al/Sap works pretty darn good. It`s our atrocious guard/wing play that kills us. EVERY TIME.

Every time.

I`d still love to see Big Al gone though. KOC will probably trade him for another big though. Then pick up another 1 or 2 in the draft.

I`m still pissed he didn`t take a guard in last years draft.

Okay. Play GM. What guard would you have taken with pick #3 last draft?

He did take a guard in last years draft?

It would appear as if the Jazz took a guard at #12....

They took Kanter at #3.... So what did they do with the 12th pick???

Maybe he was referring to a point guard...?

After Jimmer at #10, the next PG selected was Norris Cole at #28. Cole might not suck actually. He's doing a good job in his limited role for the Miami Heat. But drafting him at #12 would have been waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy too high for him.

I have no problem with what KOC did in last years' draft. He picked exactly what everyone else would have picked. Kanter and Burks were clearly the best options.

I do have a problem with what he did the previous year, should have taken George....

And I do wish he'd trade Harris for a bag of chips. IF we could get anything out of him, I think it would be a good thing. His lack of energy and focus is bringing this team down.

Problem is Harris is due big money next year. Any team trading for him would want to trade a bad contract back to us. Could always amnesty Harris next year. Granted still have to pay him so not sure Miller would go for that.

I've advocated trading Miles for a ham sandwich. We have the makings of a nice lunch here...

Draft Brandon Knight or Kemba Walker instead of Kanter, perhaps?

Personally, I'm stoked with both picks. I feel Kanter has potential to get to the point where we can build around him, whereas the same cannot be said about Knight (imo)

Well, i would of taken Knight or Walker - forgot we DID draft a guard (i sometimes forget Burks is on the team, with as little pt as he gets - and he should get alot more at the expense of ANY of our guards/wings)

Maybe KOC thought Harris wouldn`t be D-League material.

Kanter is alright, but we have too many decent bigs, considering how poor the rest of the team is.

Think Burks could be better than either one of them and Walker in particular is not a "true" point guard anyway. Kanter only 19 and did not play last year. Like what I see. Millsap and Jefferson only signed through next season.
