What's new

Congrats to Jeremy Evans, 2012 Slam Dunk Champion!!!

Truth be told, that was a lame contest. Only a couple of nice dunks. That said, Evans' second dunk was sweet. Maybe Corbin was watching and will remember that Evans is still on the team.

That was a sweet pass by Hayward, but I thought Budinger had the best dunks in rounds one and three. Evans won round two. So based on that, Chase should have won.

Also, the Kenny Smith hosting this was pure crap. Just let the players do their thing without all the side show.

He should have just done the dunk

It basically came down to creativity. He executed the dunks relatively easily including a very difficult dunk in the second round. I actually liked all of Paul George's dunks, but he had to redo his last one too many times, and apparently America doesn't like that. Actually quite shocked he was voted the champion. If he enters again next year, he should have more time to prepare and hopefully show some more good stuff.

The glow in the dark dunk was cool, but the dunk it self was lame as ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was the worst thing that couod have happened. I wanted him to win, but not with weak dunks in a weak contest. Hopefully he can defend his title next year and do some better dunks and not look so socially awkward. With that said, I love the Jazz won something.

Quietest victory ever.
They read his name and all I heard was the sound of feet shuffling out of the arena.
I am not sure when the dunk contest lost it's savor, but even with Jeremy in it was tough to stay focused.

Jeremy Evans 2nd dunk was what won it. Derrick Williams also had an awesome 2nd dunk, but his 3rd round bust killed him.

Evans first dunk was god awful.
2nd dunk was awesome.
3rd dunk was cool for the tribute, and he had great elevation. Wish he would have done the Malone from the FT line though.

Also, **** P Diddy.
