Following potential 2012 draftees

Right now Lunardi has Weber St projected as a 15 seed playing Missouri in the first round. That would be a great test for Lillard to prove his worth, even if it comes in a losing effort.

Missouri would probably be the easiest matchup for most small school upsets because they don't have much size.

Anyone think Robinson is a poor man's Blake Griffin? Both are the same size, both have incredible athleticism(Blake has more), both put up ridiculous rebounding numbers, both can occasionally shoot the jump shot and both shoot an amazing percentage. Robinson in fact plays defense and shoots better from the free throw line.

Some one prove to me how Robinson isn't like Blake

I don't hate it. Blake is just such a supreme athlete and has that 'it' factor. I like Robinson a lot, but I'd stop well short of calling him Blake.

Robinson is an athlete. Griffin is an elite athlete. Is there any other difference in them though?

I hear ya' and I can't really put my finger on it .. I'm just saying TRob is not BGriffin. I wouldn't expect Robinson to be anywhere the production level Blake gets. No slight to Robinson.

I'll be honest, I've been practically ignoring Robinson until recently. He might be one of the most under appreciated prospects, at this point, in the draft. I really like the kid.

I think a lot of people have ignored him because he is not a need, per se, for the Jazz. Having said that, he and Davis are far ahead of the rest of the pack for NPOY.

The real question is if Robinson is an upgrade for the Jazz at all, not including Jefferson. Will Robinson be better than Kanter or Favors? I just am not sure. I like his game but I see him as a more athletic Millsap without the range on his jump shot.

Agree.

Robinson is a dynamic player. Good question as to whether he'll be better than Kanter or Favors. I'd say they'll be different players but similar productivity.

In my mind Robinson doesn't have the potential that either of them do, but he seems most likely to fully realize his potential and maybe even surpass it.

Considering at this age Millsap didn't have range outside of 10 feet, he is a bit ahead of curve. Robinson is also a good 2-3 inches taller than Millsap, and a bigger body.

How does one surpass their own potential?

Well obviously it's impossible to measure potential with an instrument, but what I mean is surpass what the popular opinion of what his capabilities are. Millsap surpassed his potential. Obviously he had that inner potential all along, but no one but himself knew about it.

Thanks for the sincere answer to my sarcastic question. You're the bigger man.
