Wow, this is the worst most horrible list of draftees in an order that I have ever seen!

Sorry, I just looked at NBAdraft.net, I was wrong, this is much much better.

If you were KOC is this what your draft board would look like.

Are you really hearing that Lillard will be behind Rivers AND Marshall in the draft? Will he really drop that far down the list? ESPN seems to think he's moving up?

I'm only mostly hearing NBA teams being intrigued by Lillard. Few have scouted him much and some are waiting for combines (which I think is ridiculous to base a whole lot from the combines). He may be a sleeper in the draft because teams are a bit hesitant to take a chance, imo.

I like your list for the most part but after viewing the names, I think people are overrating this draft. There are not a lot of sure fire All-stars in this draft. I know you can say this about any draft but I am not sure that you can compare this group with the all-time best drafts.

With this order the bolded names would be the Jazz picks (as things sit right now). Thoughts PKM (or anyone else)?

I actually see it a bit different. Most drafts have the 2 or 3 stars and it goes downhill fast. This one is one that you can pick up a player all the way through the 2nd round that is just as good as late lottery .. and they're all just on a higher level. The lack of separation between the players (parity) can make one either think it's a weak class or a strong one .. I think it's strong, deep, and talented.

Those are two I would prefer not to have. I'd rather have Beal than Lamb, but I'm just not crazy about taking SG's that have outside shots that are suspect.

Question to all of the posters that know Austin Rivers fairly well:

If we were to draft him, how do you predict that a backcourt with Rivers and Burks would fare?

I am assuming that our core will be:
Rivers/Lillard/Marshall/FA PG
Burks
Drafted SF or Hayward, with one of the two being a 6th man
Favors
Kanter

Will the lack of a dedicated distributor hurt this team when we start making the playoffs, once our youth develops? Can any of you see a Rivers/Burks one-two punch being the best thing since sliced bread, or rather a poor, poor mans curry/ellis backcourt? Are the two players similar in terms of what thy offer, and how they play? I know PKM has said that a lot of GMs see Rivers as a PG, so that is what I am basing this off of. If we draft Rives, will we still need to find a PG?

If Rivers is our PG, I think starting Hayward at SG makes more sense than Burks, and having our drafted SF (hopefully Miller) at the three.

Problem is Curry is a better passer than Rivers or Burks. I would not want to be a big man with this backcourt they would probably never see the ball.

As a freshman, Curry averaged 2.8 assists, Rivers is averaging 2.1. If Curry could learn to become more of a distributor, then so can Rivers.

Rivers has better teammates. If Curry had Duke players think it would be higher.

He's also a lot more selfish. I remember watching a sports center highlight where the team playing Davidson stuck two guys on Curry, so Curry decided to play as a decoy, for the most part Curry stayed out of the way while His team played 4 on 3. I don't see Rivers ever considering doing anything like that.

This is only a problem if he plays pg. Rivers is a scorer and I would want him to play sg and be aggressive, and look to score.

If Perry Jones fell to wherever we drafted, would you take him? I think a guy with his potential you have to take and hope his outside shot can improve. Have Jones be more of a slashing SF. Then take Rivers as the PG and I'd love our future.

If we're picking 8 or later, no doubt.
