Following potential 2012 draftees

I really love Davis but drafting any big means 1 of Favors, Kanter and new big would not be starting

On Lilliard, he is my hope for a PG if Rivers is drafted already. Lights out shooter, can rebound, can defend, is athletic, has handles and can score in many ways and still averages 4 assists. Do you guys think Mario Chalmers is a good comparison for him?

If we can draft Davis, I think we have to do it and play a 3-forward line up.

I don't know who I would compare him to, but I don't like the Chalmers comparison. Lillard (apparently) has a much longer wingspan, seems faster, an even better shooter, more athletic, and just an overall craftier scorer. His ability to get to the rim and finish actually reminds me a bit of Burks.

PLEASE don't be true. I'll be so pissed if both MKG and Miller stay another year. We need a SF damn it.

I'm hearing significant rumors of both. MKG more serious about it right now than Miller. I heard MKG is coming back if he's not in top 5. Miller if not in top 10.

Well right now MKG is top 5 on most mocks, and Miller is just outside the top 10, I believe. Though Miller should definitely be top 10, imo.

My comparison was more of similar size, more shooting type of PG, ability to shoot the three and defend. Lilliard definitely has more offensive moves and is more athletic

Once these players do the draft process, they'll get a read where they're going in the draft. Hopefully the deadline to withdraw from the draft isn't too early.

Shorter timeframe to make a decision this year.

Cy: From what I am hearing, yes, QMiller will stay in with a top 10 guarantee .. and I think he'll get it.

i see lillard getting a lot of love but what about scott machado?

watching the ohio valley conference tourney and robert covington of tennessee st. reminds me of granger

^^^ But I do NOT think MKG will get a top 5 guarantee.

Davis, Drummond, and Robinson are probably the only guarantees at this point. Barnes is most likely after that, then....who? Sullinger? Jones? When you look at the other choices, it's not hard to imagine him as the 5th pick.

DX has MKG at 3, and Chad Ford has him at 4. There's a good chance he gets a top 5 guarantee from scouts, imo. We'll just have to wait and see how he does in the tournament (though I'm sure he'll really bring it in that kind of competitive atmosphere).

I watch those sites. But UK is hearing 6 teams are currently taking someone else .. putting MKG at 7 or worse. From conversations I've had, though not a decision-maker, I think he's 6-8. I think he goes back. He wants to go back. I sense he hopes things point to going back. Don't underestimate his hard life, losses of father figures, and love for Calipari.

Mkg I could see going back
Miller I think would be stupid. He already lost one year to an injury another injury could cost him.
JonesIII needs to come out no if ands or buts about it. Staying will only hurt him now.

If Kentucky wins it does he go back though? I just don't see it.

I don't see how that would really change his decision. If he wins, he would probably just think that he has a chance to win 2 now. I think a top 5 promise would sway him more.
