What's new

Utah Jazz @ Cleveland Cavs, 5pm MT

So Al played 11 minutes in the 3rd quarter.
In the 4th quarter he's played 9:45

What terrible rotation

Corbin pisses me off so much the way he tolerates and thus condones Al Jefferson's pus.. defense. Al just letting people stroll down the lane. No wonder the Cav.'s pgs are driving on every play.

Agreed. I have not noticed so much before but, wow, just stand there and let guys take 3 steps and get an easy layup when he is 2 feet from the hoop.

Jefferson with 25, 13, and 7 with no turnovers. He needs to come in later in the 4th, so he doesn't get gassed. I would like to see him come in with 5 or 6 minute left, not 7 or 8.

Al wasn't the issue in the fourth. Play calling was. As was lack of movement due to the play calling.

Got to do different stuff late in the game. Jazz won because they got too far ahead for the Cavs to catch up.

David Locke agrees with you:
"I know we are up by 15 but Al Jefferson has to protect the rim a little - please #UTAatCLE"- From Locke

LOL! Al haters frenzy. Watch that play again. Nobody moved when Al was doubled.

I agree with that. The spacing was horrible, and Al was mauled. His defense was quite atrocious despite the 3 blocks. However, Kanter had probably his worst game on both ends of the floor in my opinion, so Ty had no choice but to play Al for 39 minutes. Favors looked ok at times, and Hayward rocked!

Jefferson with Watson is not going to be good defensively with PG's blowing by Watson. Watson gets covered up by Favors and Kanter, he won't get that luxury with Jefferson and Sap.

Harris' injury makes us pretty thin. Tinsley is to slow to defend most guys, Watson is having a tough time (23 min, 1 assist tonight for example). I hope Corbin uses Burks/Hayward/Miles to help with pg duties until Harris gets back.
