Josh Smith wants out of ATL...another trade idea

That is a stretch. I like having Millsap more. He might not be as good of a defender, but he is a better complimentary offensive player. Josh Smith is an erratic shooter and a terrible FT shooter.

Not really. How many players in the league would you put into a "one of the best players in the league" category? 10? 15? 20? He might not be top 10 material this year but he's in any list beyond the best 10 players in the league this year.

The dude is a head case, but this year he's definitely one of the top 15 players in the league.

He is top 40 at best.

No way in hell. A team is more than a bunch of chess pieces. I don't think I have to explain what that means.

Josh Smith is too much of a headcase to play for a team like Utah, i mean you could trade him but you wouldn't get a guy whose as willing to put in work and go hard for the Jazz as Millsap is. And obviously the Jazz have Favors as well, i think its a pretty dumb trade, it would break up chemistry and barely help the team if it did at all.

I just don't know why people want a big guy who shoots 45% from the field and below 60% from the FT line. He has games where he dominates, and he has games where he goes 5/20 from the field. He may be better than Millsap, but I think Millsap is a better complimentary piece to a team.
