Where are all the Boozer haters at?????????

Seriously owned us tonight. 27 Points on 13/17 shooting, and 8 boards (Bulls shot 56%). That's vintage Boozer right there.

....no, "vintage" boozer was 5-15 shooting, 5 turnovers, no defense (not even trying to play defense) and generally a disappointing loss! Oh, did I mention he got like $150,000 per game for doing all that?

If both players were healthy and paid the same salary, I would definitely choose Boozer over Jefferson as a player. In the Jazz system Boozer is 20&10, shoots a better percentage, one of the best screen-roll bigs in the game, can pass out of the low post and high post and is much more versatile offensively. Both players leave alot of be desired defensively and both struggle against the Lakers frontline. However, there are other factors to consider and when you factor in durability and contract, Al gets the edge.

Regardless, the most imporant thing from last night is you saw the "team game" of the Bulls annihilate our predominantly iso and postup offense.

Millsap was one of the few Jazz players giving maximum effort and he had a very good game - but most of his points were on offensive rebounds and 1-on-1 postups (not a criticism of Paul - but indicative of where the Jazz are at overall). When Chicago decided to front Al in the post or double-down hard on the block our possession was over. When we decided to trap Rose in screen-roll they moved the ball beautifully to get Korver and Boozer good looks from the perimeter. One team had an offensive flow that moved the ball and the other didn't.

I agree generally. But I might add that the impact of Memo's floor spreading and Deron's consistent dishing was an important factor in Boozer's offense, we should consider that Big Al lacks both of those surpluses.

Anyway, the actual important question is this: Why are you torturing yourself with thinking such a scenario? It's not good for your health my friend, there are way better things to think about than those "hey, there is no a d letter in our basketball philosophy" clowns. I myself think about girls or cars or food or girls or girls, most of the time, especially when the times the Jazz lost.

I really wouldn't even want to have a dream/nightmare which I have to choose from one of them.

Boozer >>>>>> Jeffersap

ALWAYS and FOREVER.
Boozer was replaced by Millsap. Lets see:

Boozer - 27 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 5 TO.
Millsap - 26 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals, 1 TO.

I would call it a wash....wait, Millsap - 8 million, Boozer -13.5 million?! Bye-bye, Boozer!

By the way, Big Al replaced Memo in the Jazz lineup.

Where are the Boozer haters? Ask the Bulls fan in the playoffs. Even though Bulls' perimeter defenders and Asik or Noah hides his defense weaknesses, in the playoff matches when the game is tight, coach Thibodeau is gonna prefer Taj instead of him again. Also he was better when he was jazzie. He never tries to bang under the rim now but just tries to make his jumper. You gotta see his performance against Haslem, Garnett even Ilyasova. He will push his shooting too much, will not chase perimeter PFs, and get blocked against taller guys.

LOL. Boozer has a good game against us and now he's better than AJ and Sap? That's funny. Didn't Sap get 26 last night and doesn't Booz ave. 14pts per game these days? I guess every dog has his day.

Pretty much this. Boozer doesn't do that well consistently. I still don't miss him from the jazz. He still is and always will be only about himself.

Yep..... even against Ilyasova.

Jazz fans don't like 20 and 10 guys - or 18 and 9 guys. Just ask Al. Clearly we would win far more games with players who produce less.

There is one thing to keep in mind: Boozer was not going to stay with the jazz no matter what they offered. He was on his way out the previous year but only stayed because nobody could offer him anything that year.
Boozer was gone. I don't miss him any. He's good, but not that good and I got tired of him being injured all the time.

ironic - if I'm not mistaken, he's the only Bulls starter who hasn't missed a game this season

LOL

(not that it negates all those games he's missed in previous years though...)
