What's new

Pistons@Jazz 3/12/12

What's his draft situation? I don't think he has a future in the NBA, he's like a match stick, too lanky.

26. second round here

https://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2012/

ranked second best eurpen player born in 90

he is 7,4 ,standing reach 9.4,,,he is doing great in serbian league with mega virziua(second in the league) 12 points 9 rebounds

he is our future Center with Enes

Never heard of this tall drink of water (Cantekin) so I just looked up his stats from this year...11.7 ppg on 66.7% from the floor and 7.7 rebounds in just 26+ minutes. Solid. But just 0.8 blocks and 0.9 assists. If he was 19, I'd say intriguing. But dude will be 22 this year already. No thanks.

Thanks for the info. I think Furkan Aldemir (https://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Furkan-Aldemir-6146/) has a better future. He would be a wonderful back up at the 4 for us.

Or Deniz Kılıçlı https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Q9J-QSSjks

People don't think he has the NBA potential but I like him a lot. He has finally started to doing good with west virginia. He's a smaller Kanter with same strenght and the most sweetest left hook ever(He's not lefty btw). But he doesn't have the shooting touch nor rebounding like Enes, even though he's an above average rebounder. In my opinion he would be a fantastic back up 4 too. And he looks like Enes too much. :)

bro,,i known deniz for years,,i fallow his every game,,he is a great guitar player by the way, problem with him is same with dusan,,his age,,and i dont think he will be in 2012 draft..Dusan is much more complete player than Furkan..dusan can do litle bit of everything and he is 7,4.bigest problem with furkan is,he cant shoot and he is a PF,,and a short one(ony 2.06).he is 2 times better rebounder than Enes, good pick and roll player, but thats about it

Deniz isn't (October 23, 1990) too old to me, at least he has the playing experience. He will be in 2013 draft anyway.

I met with Furkan a year ago, he's no way that short, I think his height will be updated in the pre draft. He's a solid 2.08, to me. But Furkan's biggest advantage is his character. He is even too smart to be bb player and also has the Enes-like work ethic, so I believe he can develop his game a lot. By the way he has indeed better rebounding instincts than Enes, even though it's hard to believe.

My concern with Dusan is his really lanky body and shorth wingspan(6-11). Sure a 7-4 body helps a lot but you can't fill(with muscle) that body easily neither. Plus, you know, his age is also degenerated.

Indeed. Imagine Enes at 5 and him at 4 at the same time :)

I really think he can be an asset in the NBA.

Wait. We haven't even got to fully imagine Enes and Favors on the court together and now you want me to move on? And in a game thread?

NO! I refuse, even if Ty, KOC, Big Al, Milsap and half the posters on the board want to give up on Favours & Kanter combo I won't until they actually play meaningful minutes together.

yes, thats why i said he was born in 90,not like TBF's 92..well we will see in years who will turn out to be a better player,,at the end turkish basketball will be the winner,,all this 90,91,92 born players are garbage compare with the 95 born turkish players,,real stars are coming MK,,im talking about all-star caliber players,,just wait for metecan james birsen,,Kenan Sipahi,,97 borns okben, oktay ulubay,im very hopefull about our future

Haha:) no my friend, I don't believe that guy(Deniz) have the potential to be starter in the league, but I believe he and the other guy I mentioned(Furkan) could be a perfect back up 4s for any team in the NBA in the near future.

Other than this, my Jazz dream is too seeing that Kanter-Favors combo asap, with Ty or without Ty.

Yeah, I think the same way.

I'm really hopeful especially about Kenan Sipahi, I hope he'll be the end to our pg nightmares in just a few years.

I tried to warn the mods about making this a game thread. It started off as crap .. but at least it derailed from there .. so that's good.
