If there are no facts how can the parents be basing their thoughts on facts?

Tell you what, you lay out all the facts. Not statements by the parents. Not statements by neighbors that were hiding in their house. Real, actual facts that can be substantiated. After you present all the known facts we'll see if you have proven your case.
 
the police words were something like " you don't need to do that [follow him]" so they didn't exactly tell him not to in the clip I heard, although there may have been other clips also.
Again, there is actually a lot we know about what happened, there even audio, which is chilling....

Fact: I heard audio of someone screaming.

The sound of someone screaming sure sounded like a kid screaming because he was being shot by murderer, not an adult screaming because he was getting beat up by a kid, but that is my opinion, based on a fact, of the sound I heard of someone screaming.

I'd call what the 9-11 dispatcher told him advice, as they don't have the authority to tell him to stand-down.
 
Fact: multiple shots fired , before and after screaming

Conjecture: this adult needed multiple shots to defend himself

Alleged Facts: Shooter was 28 years old, and 100 pounds heavier.
Alleged Facts: Shooter was head of neighborhood watch, and had called the police 47 times previously.

Conjecture: Shooter was a f'n ahole who enjoyed bullying people.

Fact: Shooter said he would stop following the kid ("okay")

Conjecture: Shooter did not stop following the kid, after he said he would.
 
Fact: Shooter thought the kid was up to no good, and didn't want him to get away with it.

Conjecture: Kid tried to share his skittles with his murderer before and after being shot at.

(Probable) Fact: Shooter did not actually say he saw the kid do anything wrong (based on the evidence I have seen.)

Fact: Parents have identified the screaming voice as the voice of their dead son.

Conjecture: Parents are mistaken.
 
Fact: Shooter based his actions on the physical appearance of the 17 year old.

Conjecture: Shooter based his actions on the race of the kid.
 
Fact: Police have not arrested the shooter.

Conjecture: Police are biased against the out of towner versus a local resident.

Conjecture: Police are biased in favor of someone that they have a relationship with.
