I think I'm gonna be sick.
My hope is dwindling as well, but they still have to catch one of Detroit, Sacramento or Toronto to lock up 7th worst, and it's not like those teams are going to win a whole bunch either. And even if they take over 7th worst, a team could still leapfrog them in the lottery.

This might be a more appropriate tank for the GSW. You can flush that draft pick goodbye...unless they finish 6th/7th and have team(s) jump over them. Not sure I'd like to see that, though. Then you have a near playoff team get another potentially elite player.

And the worst part is both Sacramento AND Detroit are just 3 games back and both teams play hard, especially at home. Just one game further back is Toronto, followed by NJ. Golden State could conceivably finish at #4.
If they finish anything past 7th it really ceases to matter.
