screw brewer, the kid can't shoot

Ronnie Brewer is one of the absolute most overrated players that has ever played for the Jazz. The Jazz ended up getting a 20/10 big at the end of this all, and Ronnie Brewer is a rotation player on a good team. KOC aced that/those moves. KOC didn't care to re-sign him, and on the Jazz he had dramatically inflated his value, so the Jazz ran the risk of paying likely a little more than the MLE for a not very good player or letting him walk. He got what he could from a dead-end asset and turned it into an imperfect but very productive big. The only thing I didn't like about the deal is that it wasn't done sooner and wasn't part of a bigger deal to get a better player immediately.

A terribly soft defender that gambles on passing lanes and can only score on paint points in an offense where he's the 5th option and being set up by one of the best PGs in the game? SO AWESOME OMG DID YOU SEE TAHT TIME HE DUNKED ALL THOSE TIMES

I couldnt tell you anything that's going on in this "conversation". Or who's saying what.....

Hey Guys! Some player who got traded is still bitter about getting traded.

See guys! I'm not a dumbass after all!!!

I'm confused...........................................................................................

That group of guys made it as far as they could possibly go.

Its nice being a playoff team, but what's the point if there's no room for improvement?

Glad KOC blew it up.

I find it so funny when players get pissed about being traded.

Yeah, it's always a business when a player holds out for a new contract, or bolts as a free agent.
But when a player is traded, suddenly it's personal.

The trades were some of the best scenes in Moneyball. Great movie, by the way, even if a bit unrealistic. But you guys should love it. Brad Pitt makes trades look SO easy to pull off.

I think his qualifying offer was over 5 million, which is not at all reflective of his value. That is a problem with the CBA and rookie salaries, it assumes raises based on draft position not on production. They new CBA 'fixed' the inequality of the Derrick Rose situation, where a guy can get a raise while under his rookie contract if he is amazing, but it did nothing to address the escalating rookie contracts for players that a team would like to keep but not at the mandated price. Watch the Jazz struggle with this as the 4 youngins come into year 4. If one of those guys plateaus they may not be worth a 5-8 million dollar contract, so what will the Jazz do?

Brewer was one of the most over rated players on the Jazz. The guy was terrible on both ends of the floor. Glad KOC was smart enough to get rid of him when he did.

KOC blew that team up because it wasn't going to win, and brought us right back to a young team that plays well and has a future. Yeah, what a douche. He should have let the team languish, overpaid everybody, then put the team in the dumpster when all of the players left for nothing.

This conversation has no context and doesn't include the full conversation. We do not know Brewer was dissing KOC.

Why would someone be bitter about being traded to Chicago to play on a championship caliber team. I mean i think the Jazz will get there obviously but personally I wouldn't be bitter to play on Chicago for any reason other than Boozer followed me there.

Why would he be upset? He got picked up by Chicago so he has a better chance of getting a ring if he stayed in Utah. I guess he is upset because he got less money but he wasn't worth the asking price.
