Ty Corbin is...Damn near .500 with _________________
I'll start.
No offseason, Rockie Mountain Review, no training camp.
Two rookie projects and two sophomores who did little their rookie year and he wasn't allowed to work with them in the offseason.
No backcourt.
Not a single All-Star.
No starting point guard.
CJ Miles.
No John Wall, Steph Curry, Deron Williams, Kyrie Irving, or loaded pieces teams like Golden State and Sacramento.
No 3 point shooting whatsoever--point two ninety nine.
Raja is the only player over 34% with a meaningful amount of 3 point attempts.
Minnesota is only 2 games better with so much more talent.
But Tyrone Corbin sucks and is unprepared to coach, right chode monkeys?
Is Mike D'Antoni Available yet? Not the biggest fan but anything is better than tonight. I'd take SVG or Hubie Humpledink after tonights no show.

Tonight:
I'm on record as having little confidence in Ty and tonight there were quite a few decisions that I first-guessed him on tonight, but if Paul Millsap makes a wide-open 8-foot jumper to end the 4th-qtr nobody is complaining about the coaching. The Jazz had all the chances in the world but the starters couldn't make the big shots you need to hit to win tough games on the road.
Can you not recognize a joke post?
To be perfectly honest I think both posts are jokes. Can you not recognize a joke post?
I apologize if it seemed personal - I just saw the stark differences in the two posts in a short time period and was confused. To your OP, I like D'Antoni in certain situations but not with the Jazz. He needs his types of players to play his type of style and if he doens't have that - he's a disaster.LOG/PKM/CY tagging up again....
Not that the deflective hyperbole needs to be adressed, but...
Vsleuce, did you have a point to make aside from throwlling this in my face?
I've been very vocal tonight against Corbin's screw ups, as have others unwilling to indite Corbin before tonight. Sorry for not knee jerking after his first game at the helm, really. It seems someone sincere would celebrate a convert rather than thowing fits when someone comes to your side (no matter if it is trollish only).
What's your input on my OP?
Agreed, it drives me crazy that Ty feels he has to finish games with his starters (even in the Laker game - he had Howard at the scorers table to replace Burks when Alec converted that 3-point play vs Bynum going into a TO, and Ty ended up leaving Burks out there to finish the game). I just don't think Corbin has the balls to sit a starter for the entire the 4th-qtr. Even if Favors or Burks is playing well, he'll leave them out there past the under 9-TO but still come back with a starte at around the 5-min mark. We saw Sloan play bench players down the stretch all the time - it doesn't seem like Ty has the guts to leave a bench player who is playing well out there to finish the game.Agreed on D'Antoni. I don't like his methodology but it's not even about him. It's about TyCorbin.
Tonight was **** up beyond **** up. I might not be the very last person to give leeway but tonight was Pathetic Coaching 101. Get your 27% 3 point shooter the hell out of the damn game. There is no excuse for playing Chuck the full overtime let alone putting up with a guy who couldn't hit his *** with a handful of wheat shooting shot after shot.
Corbin refused to collar a waste of minutes. Not only did Jerry Sloan pull chuckers like Giricek but he publicly humiliated them after the game. Corbin would be wise to follow suit.
If I had to make a list of 100 coaches that I'd want running my team, I'd doubt D'Antoni would make the cut.
In a discussion about whether Ty Corbin did everything in his power to put his team in a position to win..... I don't see a good debate. He's been very bad in late-game situations all year. This was his masterpiece.
D'Antoni. Where did this clown ever get so much cred?
it was funny reading Tim Donaghy's book, where he talks about reffing in the D-league, and D'Antoni was a coach, and Donaghy really rips on him, talking about much of a crappy coach D'Antoni was and a total poser.
