Following potential 2012 draftees

Seems like a lot of the top prospects really struggled. Barns, Miller, PJ3, Drummond, Rivers. I don't really know what Lamb did, but never heard much about him in the tourney, so I'm thinking he didn't do that well. Did I leave anyone out?

Honestly, I think Lillard in the 1st and Darius Miller in the 2nd would be sweet. Or Lillard and MKG somehow.

I honestly don't see a trade we could do that would land us MKG, unless we want to gut the team, or we get lucky with the GS pick..................... But then again if the GS pick lands top 3 GS gets the pick, and if we get our own pick I have a hard time believing we would be any better then #12, and how many picks that high turn into top 3.

I'm sorry but how often have guys with that disposition ever worked out in professional sports? Five percent of the time? Maybe less. Not worth it at all. People pretty much are who they are and change very little, if at all.

Greg Monroe had huge question marks about his motor. He seems to be doing pretty well.

I like MKG (now), I would consider drafting him at 8. I would not, however, trade up to get him.

I think it's within reason to think that Davis, Drummond, Robinson, Sullinger, Beal, and Rivers could all be taken before him. That's six guys right there. Others could also slip in ahead of him. Marshall for a team who really wants or needs a point guard and reaches a little. PJ3 or Miller are oozing talent. Someone else could have a monster showcase in Orlando. You get the point. Guys rise. Guys fall and MKG is not so highly regarded that these guys couldn't pass him. I don't think anyway.

I'm not the expert for College ball. I'll leave that to PKM, but no way Beal, Rivers, and Sullinger go before MKG, neither would Marshall or miller and PJ3.

No chance.

I could see Beal and SUllinger going before MKG. If a team needs a big or a team is too worried about MKG's shot. Beal is a beast and Sullinger has been compared to Kevin Love.

And I think Rivers could based purely on his pedigree and the success of Curry, Love and others who's dad played in the league. Oh yeah, his shooting doesn't hurt too much either.

I'm still sweet on Quincy Miller. Needs the right environment, but the kid is one of four people in this draft with franchise player potential (Davis, Drummond, PJ III [REALLY don't see that happening] and Miller) and that is one thing the Jazz seem to lack right now. When your team is flush with a quantity of young talent (and honestly might be okay without adding anyone else) and you might not be returning to the lottery for a while (it could be a decade or more after this year), swing for the fences.

I understand that this might not be the most rational decision. What else can I say.

MKG has had a good tourney as well

Yeah, but I don't really see him improving any of the question marks about his game. Everyone knows he is a great defender, great athlete in the open court, and hustles. He still has a weird release, still struggles to score in the half-court when matched with a defender who can match his size, etc. I feel like his stock is neutral

I feel like Beal has improved his stock. Also Sully.
