Lottery Standings

The Draft Machine has us taking Lillard with the GS pick and Lamb with our pick. I guess we shall see what happens between now and the end of the season. Hopefully, GS wins some games they weren't supposed to.

Just played the lottery and we got Barnes at 9, Lamb at 14.

I think the jazz keep their pick. This team has regressed again. We need a pick in this draft. What an utter waste of a season if not. The only young player to get siggnificant burn is Hayward and he has blossomed. Imagine of the other three were getting 30 minutes. What pisses me off the most is we traded the best pg in the league for favors and filler. They sold us on this. Yet he plays twenty minutes a night and has shaky confidence because he has no idea what his role is. I'm pissed right now.

I keep think a trade must be coming. But if we keep our picks and let Jefferson and Harris play out their contracts we could sign a free agent. Also if we don't get GS pick this year, I predict we'll resign CJ.

Zeller > Kanter

Zellers experience >>>>>>>> Kanter's experience

I would be happy to draft Zeller though. A big that can rebound, score great, run, and disturb a lot of shots would be great to have. I know it's not our need, but BpA always.

He definitely has a lot more experience at least in college. I think Enes has done a pretty good job at the NBA level though. Especially considering his basketball absence. You are for the most part right. Draft the BPA. But then again, that doesn't mean you go David Kahn on the draft and take PG after PG just because you think they are the BPA.

I don't see any Euro's on the draftexpress mock draft. Does anyone know of any Euro's that could crack the lottery?

Evan Fournier looks like the top Euro who is going to be in the draft. Skinny 6'7 attacking, ball-handling SG who can't really shoot.

I'd take Zeller over Austin Rivers and Jeremy Lamb.

It would be nice to have a 7' with his skill set, IQ, and willingness to get up the court. Plus he is a big white guy and this is the Utah Jazz. Plus he could play him, Favors and Kanter would be all interchangeable and could play alongside each other.

Also, drafting him would make Sap or Jefferson very expendable because Zeller is probably already capable of playing major minutes.

For me, I'd take;

Rivers > Zeller > Lamb

I agree with this. Maybe it's already been mentioned, but I think Rivers will be a much better pro than college player. Deadly from outside + a killer first step is pretty hard to stop in the NBA.

I agree that Rivers will be a better scorer but Lamb will be superior defender. Lamb's offensive game might come around too.

River's isn't deadly from 3. He is only good at shooting off the dribble, his numbers drop considerably in catch and shoot. He is a ball dominant SG who isn't good enough to be a ball dominant SG. He is Jamall Crawford with a weird looking shot.

After that Portland game, the impulsive side of me says we need to get Marshall. Damn that was amazing passing. Tinsley got it to the perfect spot almost every play.

Who you like better between Rivers and Lamb?
