ha ha , the Jazz broadcasters are idiots.
Who is this guy saying that Favors is in Duncuns head, and Duncun is scared of him, because Duncun did not go at Favors more?
Some Utah fans and broadcasters don't seem to understand that in basketball, you win by exploiting matchups, and looking to do what works.
If you go to the matchup or gameplan that works best. This is not a sign of weakness.
Using the whole team on offense instead of running the same play to one guy over and over even though it is not working is not a sign of weakness.

Please Jazzfanz, don't let this thread accumulate more than 15 posts.

Gentlemen, its your Commander Dal speaking,

I have requested that we stop our efforts, and we retreat at all costs. I've had too damn many great men die under my watch, and I don't think I can handle it again.

But alas, you guys keep marching on. We're outnumbered 300:1, but that doesn't stop you. I could not find a better group of soldiers anywhere. Gentlemen, I have one last thing to say before we march onto the final frontier:

Corporal Peters, never have I seen such a young cadet progress so quickly. Damnit kid, you remind me of myself when I first joined this force.

Lieutenant Sto, you were always an *** to deal with, but in a good way. You have put your life on the line for all of your brothers repeatedly, and I know you'll do it again. You couldn't begin to realize how proud I am of you

Sergeant Rangelloux, you have single-handedly destroyed your home-country's reputation of softness when entering the heat of the battle. I would rather eat my own toes than to have to stare you in the eyes for more than 5 seconds. Any Commander would sell his mother to have have a kid like you in his unit- I feel truly blessed.

Major Mellinski, at first your cynicism got on all of our damn nerves. Hell, it still does. But I know that I speak for all of us when I say that you have saved our behinds many-a-times, when our emotions clouded our judgement. I can't say whether you will ever live to see your son again, but I guarantee you that he will grow up to be a helluva man

Staff Sergeant Omar, your single-handed siege of the plains of franklin will be retold in the history books of this world in the centuries to come. I have nothing more to say.

Lastly, Private East of North(ern) Ireland: I tried to think of something nice to say, but I drew blank. You remind me of that twerp from Saving Private Ryan, that always got in the way of his unit. You'll be leading the charge later tonight.

Cool post.

Only an idiot jazz fan would think that a guy with 4 rings(duncan) who is the best pf ever would be scared of a young bench player. Duncan was just pacing himself. I know you jazz fans think malone is best pf ever but he is number 2. Duncan has the hardware to back up his claim. Probally going get his 5th ring this year. Thats impressive

Teams win championships not players. But the claim that Tim Duncan was scared is homerism at its worst.

What a joke. Duncan didn't go after Favors because Favors is our best defender. the Spurs are a well coached team and they go after the mismatches and the weakest part of our defense. This is why we saw Al Jefferson stuck in pick and roll defense over and over. The Spurs were attacking the weakest link. It is really as simple as that.
