Not sure what the hell Cyrone is talking about. Not once have I ever felt like PKM hyped UK players. All of his assessments never feel exaggerated, or biased, at least when I read them. Maybe Torbin is just using a stupid definition of "hype".

I don't think he hypes, but as cy said talks about them alot ( I have no problem with that). What happens though is he we get retarded trade ideas because someone is all amped up now. Like the proposal trading burks for the late picks to get miller and lamb. That is an example of someone getting overhyped because of the uk talk. I mean that trade is one of the stupidest ideas I have seen. I'm sure pkm would not fully disagree with me either.

I am proposing a legislation that only allows Cyrone Torbin to post in this thread


This is the only way we will ever get 100% accurate, hype-free, bias-free information on NBA draft prospects.

Torbin will later create a Draft Mock a few days ahead of the NBA Draft.

It will be the exact same order as DraftExpress's mock, only reversed- as a testament to Cy's insistence on going against the grain.

Yes, that is pretty I much what I mean.

He even has me hyped on Doron Lamb as a backup PG, even though I think he is in now way a PG.

Wow .. all I said is he could provide a few minutes there (he can) but his natural position is definitely SG. And they say you're not easily persuaded .. pfffft.

I think watching Gary Neal did it. I would like to get Lamb and use him the same way.

I think they're a decent comparison. Similar in more ways than different, for sure. Also, Lamb is not just a perimeter shooter. He has a great mid-range game, floater, and very crafty going baseline .. though the baseline thing will probably result in a good number of blocked shots in the NBA.

FWIW - Calipari has said many, many times that Lamb has the highest bbIQ on this year's team and the most diverse offensive skillset.

I do want to emphasize that I dont have a problem with the UK talk. I like the insights and have loved the players coming out of the program for the past few years. so keep it coming PKM. He cant help that he has a little following of minions who blow things up like crazy.
 
Not pimping myself when I say this, but my stuff isn't limited to UK guys .. I just know them the best. Truth is, when you follow collegiate recruiting to the extent I do, you watch and evaluate ALL the top HS players (at least top25) because UK is in on most of them at some point along the way. I think I've shared info/answered questions on every single (non-euro) player through both rounds of this upcoming draft. It's just that my 'insider' info comes out of UK, mostly.

Damn, I forgot the God of UK Hype was actually John "Kanter reminds me of Malone" Calipari.

Gary Neal was also more than perimeter shooter in college, look at his stats. He played for small schools, but he was a bonafide scorer and wasn't even a very good outside shooter.

Why is it when I compliment or back PKM I get all kinds of comments about getting off of his junk etc...? I know that there are a lot of others on this forum the feel the same and when they express it no one says a thing?
