This sounds like an impression that's carried over for the last two years and not necessarily fair to the player he is.
 
Terrance Ross feels like the Jordan Hamilton of this draft. I thought we would go somewhere in the mid-late teens, but ends up falling to the late first because teams try to take guys with more potential.

I have never seen Ross play a minute of basketball or even a highlight reel.

Was told the talks with the Rockets have ceased. No details other than HOU is asking for more than the Jazz were willing to offer.

Teague - I said he sucks.
DLamb - I say take him early 2nd.
MKG - I have him below the mocks.
TJones - I've been fairly critical .. and have him around 14/15 ... below DX.
Davis - Okay.
DMiller - Talked him up, yes, but never suggested him any higher than late 1st.

There's a difference between talking about (fondly, I admit, because I know them) UK players and pimping them. I've done the former A LOT. The latter, not so much.

Yes, but you still create a lot of hype on the forum about these players. Not necessarily overrating them, but just talking about them a lot and creating excitement about them, which is why I said the guy who knows the most about UK players even said he sees little area for improvement in MKG's shot.
 
Fair enough. I do try to not do that, btw. It's hard to know guys that well and not share the info. I've only told about a third of what I've wanted to .. for that very reason.

It's the only reason we like you PKM. We use you for your insider knowledge and put up with the rest of your post (also for your treasure hunts).
