20 days to draft Lottery. May 30th 8 pm EST

I like the scenario people were throwing around of Detroit jumping the GSTankers. That gives Utah the 8th seed. That way everyone wins. (the playoff experience guys and the lottery pick guys.)

Group Fast May 29th at 6:00 PM.

I'm also open to boiling a cat in its own blood, just to cover all our bases.

Anybody know why are pick that goes to Minnesota is 18th? Was there a coin flip between us and Dallas?

At this point anyone complaining about us making the playoffs is ruhtarded. You never intentionally lose, and were giving up the 18th overall pick, which means we might miss out on the next Quincy Lewis.

My is confused.

That fateful day we actually ended up losing 3 coin flips. Us, Dallas and NYK all had the same record, and we ended up with the worst pick out of the 3. Which I guess is a good thing in this scenario because MIN is in our division.

Thanks, I needed that.

I saw no one advocating losing on purpose. I saw people *raises hand* that wanted to get the youngsters more burn earlier in the season .. even if that meant we missed the playoffs. So, we're not talking about losing out on the 18th pick. We're talking about losing out on the 13th or 14th. Not arguing, just clarifying.

It baffles me that people still think anyone here was advocating losing on purpose. Reading comprehension, people. Reading comprehension.

The Warriors, almost overnight, have become my most hated team. Mark Jackson, go dive in a pit of lava.

after third pick last year, if we get the lottery pick this year, it means we are damn lucky and God pretty much trying hard to make us a contender

To be honest, part of me hoped to miss the playoffs to keep our pick too. What I meant was, we weren't ever going to try and lose because were The Jazz so you cant look at it like the big Al trade somehow cost us a lottery pick, like it seems like alot of people are doing. We lost the 18th pick, we never had a lotto pick. The Jazz have never started a season by saying, "#1 goal, get lotto pick!"

If we want to play the what if game, then we might as well start wondering if starting Raja Bell at Center and Jamaal Tinsley at Power Forward would've given us a shot at Anthony Davis.

Ahhhhh, we could've had Davis!!!

I realize that was said in jest .. but that's apples and oranges. Playing Tinsley at PF is something tankers would do .. I just wanted Favors, Kanter, and Burks to get more PT. That seems perfectly reasonable to me and has nothing, at all, to do with trying to lose.

I wanted those dudes to get more PT too, not to try and tank or anything though.

I wasnt having a tank or no tank argument, I was just surprised we we are only giving up the 18th pick and I think that should put to rest any complaints about losing our pick this year.

ya it should have never been the "tank guys" vs the "playoff guys".

I was always the "guys that want young guys to play and see what happens even if it means missing the playoffs and keeping our pick" vs the "playoff guys".

I hope that one of the teams currently 8-14 join New Jersey in the Top 3. Warriors to #8 and Portland missing out on the Nets' pick, please.
