What's new

20 days to draft Lottery. May 30th 8 pm EST

I said it weeks ago. Detroit jumps into the lottery and lands either Davis or MKG. They both feel like Pistons to me. And God knows, Stern needs his Pistons to get better.

That is where I got it from then. I knew someone had said it but I could not remember who.

We still have a chance to end up with the 8th pick. A very small chance but there is a chance. Who has good luck charms to help us out?
27.4% chance, which isn't that small. Still more likely GS keeps it, but I like 27.4% better than some alternatives.

I've been thinking a lot about this lately, and I've come to the conclusion that we don't need any more young guys. I'd rather just stick with Raja for another year, and maybe sign CJ for a few more years. Maybe after that we can start thinking about young guys again.

Thank God. So glad you've dropped your loser ways.

As far as the tank vs playoff debate goes, it was not a debate about whether we should try to win or lose, it was merely a debate concerning whether the playoffs or a lottery pick would be more beneficial to the team's future.

But I'm sick of that topic. What's done is done. Let's just hope there is such a thing as basketball karma and GS gets ****ed in the ***.

Agree completely on the playoffs vs. no playoffs debate.

However, the argument that this team is too young and doesn't need any rookies this year is still relevant. I'm just curious how many people will stick to their guns on that claim, and how many people (like Thee Jazz Fan) will abandon the idea now that it isn't part of making their case for being in the playoffs.

My guess is that if we do end up getting a pick, no one will be complaining.

ya it should have never been the "tank guys" vs the "playoff guys".

I was always the "guys that want young guys to play and see what happens even if it means missing the playoffs and keeping our pick" vs the "playoff guys".
There were a number of guys saying that we should try to lose that game against Golden State. That's tanking, no matter how you try to spin it now.
