They have the 9th pick.
Wonder what they would be interested in that we have...
Probably Favors first and Kanter second, but after we say 'no' to that, then probably Millsap.

Well, I meant what would they be interested in that we're willing to give up?
I want to snag their pick and Knight somehow lol
I'll post quick stuff here and there. I'll goback and read/answer later. This is something that was just said. For now, I've heard we've talked to HOU, Cavs, Grizz, and one other that we haven't heard the name yet. Also was told we're asking about Jones, Jeff Taylor, and DMiller was brought up again.
Apparently HOU is still looking like the most likely option. This guy said the Cavs approached the Jazz with their lottery pick and one of their 2nd's for Favors and other consideration. Said Jazz said hell no.
I'd bet Detroit would take Al if we took one of their undesirable contracts. But I know Al alone can't get us near Knight or the 9th pick even if we take, say, Gordon.
I wonder what else we would have to give?
I don't know why they would take Al, wouldn't be a great fit with Monroe, or at least I don't think it would.

Just my 2 cents one thing to consider is that the jazz feel millsap can play minutes at the 3 like the end of this year. That might have the jazz looking at a big to play either center or pf. All considering Jefferson is moved.
Meh.
Jeff Taylor I think would be a great find. I have expressed my interest in him before if you want look it up.
Agreed.
I would almost wet myself if the jazz could get dmiller in the late first but I can't see the grizz trade for Jefferson so maybe the gsw pick swap. I could live with that.
Agreed.
Houston saying they are not interested in Jefferson is asinine. He is a good fit for their team...
Be honest. Jefferson's not a good fit for any team.
Oh, and I did hear the Cavs are still in convo even though we removed Favors from consideration.
Haven't heard much Jones talk but plenty of JTaylor and DMiller. Also just one small hint at possibly Draymond Green .. but it was a half-sentence.
I'm not sure what the HOU deal is exactly. I thought it was for one pick, but it was for both .. I guess maybe they're asking for Kanter/Sap .. ??? No idea, because if thye don't want Al, what do we have for a 14/16? These guys are starting to be pretty tanked (no pun intended) so if they know more, perhaps it will be forthcoming. Oh, and I did hear the Cavs are still in convo even though we removed Favors from consideration.
Wait...they wanted both of them, or just one? No way I'm giving up Kanter.
Was told Jazz going after both.
Also, I just asked about Marshall again. This guy, who would know, said the Jazz see him as a bad fit. Not a bad player, but a bad fit. We need shooting and defense ... and he has neither. Ouch. Wow, I thought he was the prototypical Jazz guy.
Two questions. First, the Jazz are shopping both or Houston wants both? Or is it either Kanter or Millsap?
If Marshall is not a good fit for Utah then dies that mean the pass-only-pg era in Utah is over?
Jazz proposing something that gets us both ... not HOU offering both.
The Kanter/Millsap thing was purely speculation on my part. I was just perplexed what we have to offer them for the two picks if Al is not wanted.
That may be an overreaction to the Marshall thing. I think the team knows they desperately need shooting and gritty defenders. I hope they're doing what I was hoping for and looking for a PG in FA vs. draft (Rondo).
