Yes. Much of this going on right now. Both ways. That's why it's hard to put deals together ..

Still trying to figure out wtf the HOU deal looks like. The Jazz proposed it. The Cavs came to the Jazz.

FWIW, it seems to be much easier to get info regarding a deal that a team pursued us vs. us pursuing them. Holy hell, this franchise has info on total lockdown.

I agree. But not on the dollar amount, I can live with 5 years, 45M. Not more than that though I think.

Oops, must have pushed too hard .. was just TOLD that no more info will come prior to the 30th. Kinda dickhead about it too.

The Jazz FO is going to have to work hard and be patient in any Al deal. Everybody knows they need to make room for Favors, so everybody knows what they are trying to sell; the offers will start on the "fleecing" side, and it'll take a lot of negotiating to get them into a good range. It's for these reasons that I have low expectations for any deal that happens on or just before the draft. Perhaps things get easier after that?

Yeah this Al deal seems hard because of what you said. Other teams know we need him out, so they try fleecing. What the Jazz should do is try to make the other team feel like they're fleecing the Jazz, but in reality they're not and that's the trade that will happen if it does. It'll be something that we all will hate at first, but will make a lot of sense in a couple years.

I've made a couple calls already and the two I've spoken with said they don't 'think' there's anything more than just casual talk .. but they admitted to not really knowing. I know another guy that's with the Suns org. but he's in France until tomorrow night. Not sure I can dig anything up, but curiousity has me trying.

Sure would be more fun to watch vid, imo, if we knew we had a pick. You may want to look at guys we could maybe get with our 2nd pick.
 
Random thought: I still like Damian Lillard for the Jazz. I think he's going to have a bigger impact than Mo Williams because he can drive, and a bigger impact than Beaubois because he can shoot.
