What's new

Korver?

so, if he sucks so bad he doesn't get his contract fulfilled, then we should be interested?

Korver continues to put up great numbers from 3 during the regular season and then promptly collapses in the playoffs. He was horrible after Rose ACL'ed.

Bulls will defintely have cap issues next year with Rose re-upping for big, big money. I'm sure The Bulls would give Korver back to Utah in a second for cap relief via The Jazz's TPE.

Jazz would certainly have the cutest G/F tandem in the league with Gordo and Korver - but I'm not sure if that's the way to go.

I hated Korver. Couldnt count on him. He got too shoot happy at times. He's soft. Sucks on D. No need for him. Its this kind of thinking that has been holding this team back.

Say what you want about Korver but he had the most underrated D of anyone on the team in the past 10 years.

A "chucker" who, in his last season with the jazz, shot the highest 3pt% of all time.

People's gripe was that he wasn't chucking enough, trying to preserve that record.

I'd do it. He liked it here last time. He would want to be here again I presume. He's also a good Christian boy.

Think about this now: if we can get Marshall running plays - can you imagine? Inside, outside, inside, outside. Laser passes. Boom! Boom! Boom!

Effortless.

(may sound like I'm not serious, but I am, just want to 'jazz' it up a bit)

The OP and other suggest we bring back Korver. Well we would have a log jam at the two. So we would need to trade Burks to make room. Oh hell, do I have to explain this?

I think JJ was asking why you would want to get rid of Burks to make room for Korver.

Rush would be great. Sign me up.

Korver would also be cool, IMO, if we could have him for our TPE and nothing else strikes KOC's fancy.
