Following potential 2012 draftees

Dejuan Blair is a good comparison in my opinion. Sullinger has better range.

Actually upon further thought this is the best comparison

Jared Sullinger = glen Davis.

You are comparing a top 10 lottery pick to two 2nd rounders.

Also, Glen Davis never had a back to the basket game. He has always been a face up 4 who is extremely overweight. Sullinger is a bit overweight (but has shown the ability to lose it year to year), but his weight problem is nearly on Davis's level.

Sullinger seems to have longer arms and a much better post game. Davis has quicker feet and is a better finisher at the rim on the move. I can't think of a better comparison though.

You are being way too nice to Al. He apparently is afraid to get physical for the most part. We saw it all series long against the Spur. Settling for that 7'-9' hook shot rather than getting good position to begin with or backing down his defender. It wasn't like we were going to beat the Spurs, I just hated how starstruck Al seemed at times.

This is what drives me crazy about Jefferson. He never fights for deep post position. And that bad habit seems to have rubbed off on Kanter. I am not asking for him to fight for deep post position every time but he needs to do it 5-6 times a game.

If anything, Kanter posts too deep and finds himself attempting layups on the wrong side of the backboard. Jefferson gets pretty deep posts but the problem is no outside shooting allows defenders to pack the paint and nullify his position, and he floats out to compensate. Get some shooters KOC.

What bust are out there that were lottery talent picks with the play styles of Love/Sullinger (srsly, I can't think of any in recent memory).

That guy that came from Georgetown several years ago, can't remember his name but he got really fat. I would maybe add Ike Diogu as well.

If the jazz chose to trade both Sap and Al or trade Al and let Sap expire, would Sulinger be a good pick?

I think they would trade Sap and let Al expire, as Sap would have much better trade value. That said, I expect the Jazz to resign Milsap before the beginning of the season, after trading Al.

I agree with the first sentence but not the 2nd part of the 2nd sentence.

Spoke with someone today (that many here would know who he is) that said POR is trying to move up to get MKG. Does that make any sense for that team?

I hope they fail as I like that kid and do not want to see the Trailblazers get him.

I'm less familiar with their roster than any other person on this board, I'm sure. It just seems like he's not as big of need for them as others. Seem right?

I pay as much attention to teams other than the Jazz as you do. I have no idea. I just do not care for Portland as they always seem to interfer in Jazz business.

They did get rid of Wallace, who some might compare MKG to.

Also he would fit in well in a rotation with Matthews and Batum. Both are decent to good shooters outside, and MKG is the defender slasher they need. They have a lot of perimeter players that can shoot. Even LMA is more of a perimeter player.

Also they want to be a quicker paced team then a half court team. Portland has more players that fit better in a slower paced game.

MKG would be a good fit next to Matthews and wouldn't have to dominate or even start right away because of Batum. Having said that, I don't think they need him as much as other teams in that range, but their wing spots aren't overly crowded, so there's room for him there.
