...have you ever seen the Stockton/Malone Jazz? Or the Larry Bird Celtics? Or the Portland Trailblazers with Bill Walton? Or the Lakers with Magic Johnson?

Yep. And this Spurs team is just as good if not better at passing. Those high low passes from Diaw to Duncan/Splitter are a thing of beauty. Ginobli coming off picks to thread the needle to the roller screams Stockton. Parker driving and kicking out to wide open 3 point shooters is exactly what we all hoped Devin Harris would do for us.

I don't know how good this Spurs team is or will be. But I don't think they've won 19 straight games on accident. They have a winning formula. That formula is slicing up the opponents defense with precision passing. They just scored 100+ on a defense that is extremely formidable.

....well, I don't see a flaw in any of your statements! However, those teams I mentioned would be doing the exact same thing to this Thunder team as well! And in all probability, they would also be looking at a 4 game sweep!

....Westbrook was completely OUT OF CONTROL....and will continue to play out of control because it's in his DNA to play out of control!

What side do you suppose he inherited his OoC DNA from? Is Out of Control DNA linked to cancer?

...yep! Basketball cancer! A number of players have had it over the years. World B. Free, Allan Iverson, Marbury, Steve Francis, and I'm sure Northeast could help me add to that list as well! They usually catch it from school yards, YMCA gyms, and lunch time basketball at high school! Problem is.....once you get it....it never leaves your body!

refs are the margin today
the was not a goal tend by Ibaka
out of bounds, foul calls on Fisher
Ginobli travels no call 3x
numerous foul calls favoring Spurs
etc

Though I dislike the Spurs, their team play is nothing short of true artwork. Seriously cannot wait to see them in the Finals. Sweeping OKC has just become very probable.

uggghhh they could sweep them

I picked OKC because I thought Westbrook had matured and was ready to play different.

Westbrook just needs to get out of the way and let Harden run things. Imagine if Durant was getting wide open jumpers all night because his point was getting him open.

And....... I'm officially done with the ECF this year. I can't watch that slop after watching the Spurs right now. I like basketball.

The Spurs just keep finding the open man , go 10 deep, and everybody except their 7 footers will hit the 3.

OKC has the same problems I talked about earlier, they need to avoid getting tired, and they need to make the Spurs pay for focusing on stopping the OKC stars by going to the 5th guy for scores some.

TV guys make it sound like it wasn;t close, but OKC got real close near the end.

Told you. The Spurs are seriously the best passing and more unselfish team I have ever seen.

This easily could be the best Spurs team ever. If they keep this up, they might make the case for being one of the greatest teams ever. Big names? Sure, they lack. But they now have 20 straight wins, and are making the Thunder look like the Jazz.... Which is saying something.

We could have drafted Leonard.... And Parker...

If the Spurs sweep the Thunder they will destroy the Heat. Especially if Bosh isn't ready to roll. I think the only chance Miami will have is if Lebron plays like an animal, the refs hand Wade everything and maybe even more than they did in his championship wins against Dallas, and if Bosh plays like Kevin Garnett in his prime.

I said it after the Jazz lost to the Spurs that a Healthy Spurs team would toy with OKC, but everyone laughed and was enamored with the new, jump high, run fast thing out there. Only 2-0 but pretty much what I thought it would be, slow and steady cant be stopped. I give the Hype, I mean thunder 1 win at home.
