The Thunder

The Spurs are doing more than beating people, they are laying down a ****ing blueprint. It's a masterpiece. I hope, for their sake, they don't end up the NBA version of the '07 Patriots.

Oh yeah!
Thats when my Giants laid the beatdown.

If Spurs steam roll everyone including the Heat, NBA teams will have to think hard about their approach to team play. And maybe something like this will teach a whole generation of youth the importance of team play.

They're playing beautiful basketball. It would be a travesty if they get beat by OKC or Miami. The NBA is in dire need of some rule changes to clean up the mess.

The biggest messes are traveling and flopping. The Spurs do all that in bunches.

Spurs have to be one of the best teams in NBA history. As talented as the Thunder are, they just don't have an answer. And yes, Big Al could help them. They need a good post scorer. Big Al for Perkins straight up would help both teams. Though I'm not sure I'd do this if I were the Jazz.

No, they don't need a post scorer like Al. They just need someone who can finish and has a good feel for offense, not another ISO player. They need someone who can score 12-15 ppg, in an efficient manner without having plays called for them. I think maybe a guy like Kris Humphries could help them a lot, both on the rebounding and offensive end. Not sure how he is with defense.

Interesting note on the Spurs, they have 1 lottery pick (Duncan) on their roster. They have 7 2nd round picks. Talk about top notch coaching & front office.

All those Euro steals before the NBA really had a handle on scouting Euros really helped them out.

Do you GUYS THINK it was WORTH IT for the THUNDER to give up the their LOTTERY pick to just get SWEPT by the SPURS!!!???

I don't know if I want to laugh at this or punch you in the neck. Since this is the internet, and I can't punch anyone, I'll just do neither.

I do like their formula, which seems unusual if not unique in the NBA. I compliment them having the courage to do things others are not trying.

Miami is a "worse" version of OKC. Very star heavy without as much team ball/passing/getting role players involved.

Miami is pretty much cooked. And the Spurs actually have an even more potent offense than OKC or Miami because they play team ball.

Bingo! Won't it be great if the Spurs actually sweep the Heat....and then we can replay that goofy "not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six.....championships!" You can't put together a glorified AND1 team and expect to beat the big boys in a 7 game series! They will exploit your foolishness, chew you up....and then spit you out! The 1978 Blazers with Walton and his crew did the same thing to the mighty 76ers led by Dr. J, George McGinnis and World B. Free! That team also had Doug Collins and Darrell Dawkins, too!
