Who does Perry Jones III compare to in the NBA? If he decided to work hard

Chad Ford (2:40 PM)
Paul George?

I'm still not closing the door on PJ3.

I'm keeping this thread alive like it's just gonna keep on living.
How many times have we debated PJ3's position? Better to ask how many more times are we going to.

I like Jones3. But he's definitely not a true SF. He definitely has motor/desire issues. Medium risk, high reward .. I take him at 8.

One thing that I think has hurt PJ3's game is expectations. The entire time he was at Baylor he was considered the best player on the team, if not the best player on the court. He was playing is a system that really hurt how his game was displayed. I honestly feel like the Jazz would be the best fit for him because we already have Favors, Kanter, Hayward and Burks. He doesn't need to come in and be this teams savior.

What exactly are his strengths and how did Baylor not play him right? I've only seen a little bit of him.

Here are some qualities that I would use to describe PJ3:
Athletic
Long
Good ball control (for a 6-11 prospect)

What I don't like:
Motor
Consistency

Baylor ran the ball through all their little guys. It was like the only time that they used PJ3 or Acy was when the little guys were desperate or when those two got the offensive rebound.

Reped.
