Anybody gonna follow Euro?? Ill be rooting for France, as-per uszzhhee. Hopefully they don't lay another egg, a la 2008/2010

I'll be rooting for the Netherlands.

I love Euro Cup. To me its just as awesome as the World Cup.

It's gonna be hard to follow it this time since Türkiye couldn't qualify. Nevertheless, of course I will follow.

My favorites are England, Spain, Netherlands and Czech Republic which are playing the best football all the time. I will root mainly for England though, I want them to pick up their old strenght. Best Music/Best Football---> England.

I'm all against Italy and Greece which are playing in a horrible way to watch, and Germany which plays based on their physical advantages, even though they're showing progress lately in this manner.

France/Portugal/Russia... Meh, if they play well, I'm ok with them winning it all.

The rest of them don't look promising already.

I am bored of seeing Spain winning all matches and hate German stealing all countries' original players ala Khedira, Ozil etc. Also Netherland has been always unlucky even they play the greatest offense. You gotta notice that the total offensive sytem of Barca comes from Cruyff so hope Netherland gets the trophy

Yeah, I feel for the Oranges too. Their football is the symbol of the beauty of the football.

I am still sad about Ozil choosing the German NT instead of Turkish NT. It's true that the German football relies on the immigrant population today, such as turkish, polish or african players, but you gotta give the credit where it's due. They raised Ozil and now he plays for them. It's not exactly stealing. Not to mention they also raised many other turkish players who plays or has played for Turkish NT, like Altıntop brothers, Bastürk, Nuri Şahin, Ahmet Dursun, Ümit Karan, Ümit Davala, Serhat Akın, Ceyhun Gülselam, Deniz Barış, Ersen Martin, İlhan Mansız, Hakan Balta... Or the old big players like Tayfur Havutçu, Uğur İnceman, Uğur Tütüneker and so many others. IMO, if we had a quality substructure like the germans have, we would dominate the European Football.

Anyway I too don't want to Germans winning, because they also eliminated us on the semifinals last Euro which we were clearly better than them.

I'm also bored spain domination, they are too cocky about it too, but what the hell, they're doing all the right things to be succesful and they deserve it, both in football and basketball, we should take an example by them, not the corrupt italian sport industry or crappy greek football(no offense, lol)...

And England, I love them so much because they have always the complete game, offense, defense, tactic, fluent and smooth game, they have always played a poetic game. But now they're playing like s**t! I want them to find their old self.

And yeah, in addition, there is Crotia. I hope they will be the last, or simply burn in the hell! Lol...

Did any of you catch todays games? The Poland v. Greece one was unbelievably dramatic.

PS, Enes, the 2008 Turkey team was one of the most exciting teams I have ever witnessed play the game of soccer. Their victories were unbelievably probably, and their near-victory over germany with 9 of their starting squad members missing due to injury or suspension is nothing short of amazing. That team had heart unlike any other team I have ever seen before.

For those who don't know what Im talking about, please check this video out (its quite well done):

I hate the fact the rest of the world doesn't have an equivalent cup. All the other Confederation cups suck. I'd love to see Asia/N America/S. America/Africa send 16 teams to a similar cup to rival the Euro Cup, but that'll never happen.

I was also going to root against Italy but since that traitor Rossi got hurt and didn't make the team I can't root against them as much anymore, though I;ve still never liked them much.

Teams I hate: Italy, Italy, England, Italy, Portugal, Spain, sometimes Germany (most of my friends are German). Did I mention Italy?

The Copa America isn't half-bad!!! They just don't put nearly as much money into marketing it to a world audience. They have it every 4 years as well, with the next one being in '15 I think. If they had a long of English announcers announcing the games, and a lot of channels airing it and what not, it could approach a similar level. The format is there.

I watched the first half of the Poland-Greece game, there was two stupid yellow cards for the greeks then I fell asleep, when I woke up, I saw the Russia's game score 4-1 and Greece's score 1-1, both of them were quite surprises for me. Today I'll be awake, no matter what happens.

@Dalamon, Euro 2008 was full of miracles for Turkey, first we won at last min against Switzerland, I was surprised but happy, then we won against Chzechs from 2-0 in the last 15 mins, I was shocked and crazy. Then the next game, we tied the game against Crotia at the just very very last second of the 121st min. I was like, "OMG, I knew you exist! But are you kidding us!" I can't forget british commentators' daze also. Overall, we weren't playing the best football, but we were definitely one of the most exciting teams of the tournament.

This is that crazy Crotia game, they played better but we did not give up, and won! Attention to what commentator says at 2:26... That's so fun...

I'll be rooting for France as usual (ever since Euro '96 because of Zizou) since my national team is not participating (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Netherlands because of RVP.
Heck I'll even root for anyone playing against C. Ronaldo. XD

The only bad thing while rooting for France is seeing c*nt Samir Nasri who left us (Arsenal) for Man City just because of money. Can't believe that I almost bought his jersey just before he left...

What a boring game between Germany and Portugal, especially the first half. Even though Portugal wasted too many opportunities late minutes, they are just not good enough as a team. C. Ronaldo has to change his "I'm too good but my team mates suck!" attitude, otherwise they have no chance.

Now after this game I definitely hate German NT. If they go through more than quarter finals, I simply won't watch them.

Salutes from Istanbul bro...

Good boy, Ned. Zizou is what got me into Soccer. I still remember watching the '98 Final with my parents (they were big on Suker and the Croats) and how amazing he was, even though I was only 5 at the time. Euro 2000 was icing on the cake, and then I followed Zizou throughout his career, up until 2006. He is easily my favourite soccer player I have ever had the privilege of watching.

Haha that whomps, my best friend is a huge Arsenal fan as well. He was ticked with Robbies performance today.
France has an amazing attacking half. Malouda, Benzema, Ribery, Nasri. Everything is covered in that attacking formation; probably the most intimidating attack-line in all of Europe. If the defense gets in sync, and we get decent wingage from Sagna and Evra, then the sky is the limit. Mexes needs to be thrown on the bench.

I went to German Bilingual school for 12 years. Nearly every single one of my close friends is German, and they are all serious fans of the team. Its downright nauseating. I was born in Germany as well, but I will never ever root for them. I respect them as a team, but that is it. Plus, they broke my heart when they beat Turkey in 08 (Turkey is always my underdog team that I root for; especially after 08)

Portugal and Germany both played poorly, but Portugal does not stand a single chance in this tourney. They don't seem to have tho teamwork mojo going on. Id be floored if they got past the round of 16. Netherlands is now exposed as well; honestly, if Germany beats the Netherlands, and Denmark ties Portugal, then Denmark and Germany will advance. How crazy would that be!! Im pulling for the Danish to pull another upset off here.
