I like Millsap's game, but given that Favors needs to start and Millsap may not want to come off the bench, I could see a trade where Millsap and the #10 are involved. I also think the Jazz would need to get something else back to do the deal though, like a rotation scoring wing or something. There are good players the Jazz could get at #10, including Terrence Jones, Jeremy Lamb, Dion Waiters, and Marshall, that would alleviate the log-jam at PF. I still also like Terrence Ross and Quincy Miller (although I may be in the minority). I wonder if Portland would do Batum/#11 or if NOH would do Ayon/#10.

The thing that actually intrigues me about Chad Ford's post is that it looks like the Sixers are making Evan Turner available. I know he doesn't really have a position, but he's an interesting talent.

I don't understand how some are undervaluing Burks, and consider him merely trade filler. I was plenty impressed with his rookie season sans training camp. Millsap has plenty of trade value on his own without bailing on a promising talent like Burks, who barely got playing time in his rookie season. And NOT because of anything he did or didn't do but because Corbin carries on Sloan's tradition of playing vets before talent. Don't quit on Burks, kids.

I wouldn't trade Millsap for the 10th pick simply because Millsap is a proven commodity while the #10 is anyone's guess. I would rather trade AJ or I would rather trade Millsap for a proven NBA SF/SG/PG. There is no way I would include Burks. Has everyone forgotten that Paul is the one player who isn't afraid to take the shot down the stretch (AJ does it sometimes) and he has delivered several times.

Batum is way overrated and he wants a big contract. The guy doesn't even score over 15 pts a game. The only reason I would trade Paul is if he expressed concerns with coming off the bench or wants a $12 million dollar contract. I would only pay Paul about $7.5 - $9 million a year. I am not that high on either PG both have a lot to prove. My main concern is with Marshall's shooting (lack of) and Lillard's level of competition.

I love when someone says how much they LOVE a deal, but rationalize how good it is for the other team. If the Jazz are trading up to get Marshall, it better not be at the expense of Millsap, and not for a pick higher than 15...

Yeah, this doesn't look like something the Jazz would propose. That's pretty one-sided from NOH's perspective---they want to trade the pick, get an established player, get another upside player, give up Ariza, etc.

Yes, this is not one we'd have to worry about. It would be Millsap for Ariza/10.

I would trade jefferson for a high enough pick. I would not trade Sap for anything other than davis...ok.. maybe top 5, but not 6-10.
No trade on Favors, Hayward, Burks, or Kanter for a draft pick.

If we could bundle Bell, CJ, Harris, and various posters for Lillard that would be great.

Otherwise we find some other trade to get rid of Bell and CJ.... and hope we can pick a diamond in the rough pg that will fight for backup minutes in the 2nd round.

Jazz not only hold his Bird rights, but will have more cap space than any team out there. He'll sign back with the Jazz at a good number, because it will be the best number out there...

The part in red is a total myth. It's been well documented by myself and others here that all of the talented rookies got playing time under Sloan.

Not much interest in Marshall here. Guy can't stay in front of his man. I'd like at least some token resistance to opposing PGs. Especially with how many scoring PGs there are in the league these days. And shoot me now if I ever have to see Marshall and Jefferson defending the PnR together.

IMO, Millsap x Pick 10 is good... Millsap xx Ariza+Pick 10 is good... but Millsap+Burks+47 x 10 is really BAD
