England has been terrible all tournament long. They were fortunate that France laid an egg against Sweden, and they advanced as the 1st seed in their group. Everyone knew that England was going nowhere this year.
I don't really know anything about Soccer other than playing Fifa. I destroy with Rooney and Gerrard, so I thought they would be good.

It was not that bad. For 0-0 game when Italy had 30 total shots it was quite entertaining. And good better team advanced as England certainly did not deserve it.

They're notorious for being very good on paper, and completely underachieving in every international tournament that they participate in. It was especially funny in this past decade, because they had a crop of players dubbed as the "Golden Generation of English Football" and they never even came close to meeting any of the fans' expectations.
You're exaggerating it. Ok, maybe not for the last decade but, the England team of my childhood was not that bad.

Italy just screwed England, they really deserved the semi final. After i watched this game, i am not sure Germany can reach the finals against italy. So disciplined tactics with excellent motivation and physical power. Add the passing skills, then they become secret favourite against Germany. I support Italy against Germany and spain against portugal so it can be interesting finale: Italy versus Spain. Hope Italy gets the trophy. Bored to see Spain wins all. Forza azzurri al finale!!

The funny thing is, they do. If Portugal can play their defense similarly to France (minus that defensive lapse which led to the first Spanish goal) it'll be a close game throughout the 90 minutes. Germany is definitely the best team left in the top 4, Spain doesn't look as lethal as they once did.

Portugal has a chance... Look for them to play stout/conservative defense and then counter attack. Ronaldo MUST have a good game and create scoring chances. Honestly, any of these four teams can beat the other. This is going to be fun.
Still Spain>Germany for me. I too think Germany is playing very solid but something about them bothers me a lot. It's like they will collapse against a well passing team. However they have %50 chance on a possible Spain-Germany final. Because Spain too has a serious problem: Their forwards are not performing well, they do all that crazy passing almost for nothing. Especially Torres is playing like shi*!
