Okay, most of us have been nerding over this ****ing draft for the past year. We might as well put our knowledge to the test. Everyone puts in one mock draft (only 1) and that will be your entry. You can edit it at anytime before the draft, but once the draft starts all entries are final. Whoever the winner goes the rep from every poster (encouraged).

Good luck.

Also, no predicting trades, that doesn't matter. All that matters is order.

Tier 1

1. Anthony Davis - The obvious pick

--------------------------------------

Tier 2

2. Thomas Robinson - They need help in the front court and Robinson's a keeper
3. Bradley Beal - The obvious pick for Wizards if he falls to #3 to pair with John Wall
4. Harrison Barnes - He fills the gap in the wing and provides a fire power to complement their star PG
5. MKG - As bad as the Kings front office has been - there's no way they can mess this pick up

--------------------------------------

Tier 3

6. Andre Drummond - POR decides they prefer Drummon/Marshall over Zeller/Lillard
7. Dion Waiters - The obvious choice for GSW to fill the hole at SG
8. Damian Lillard - If he drops this far, Collangelo would be estatic to take him given Calderon's expiring contract situation
9. John Henson - It's a boring pick here but they need another future big and this would be a typical DET's pick
10. Austin Rivers - Rivers seems to have an edge here over Marshall talent wise
11. Kendall Marshall - How can POR get 2 picks in this loaded draft and reload so quickly without a GM? KOC watch and learn
12. Tyler Zeller - A serviceable true centre for years to come for HOU
13. Jeremy Lamb - A bad draft for PHO with no more potential star left, should help to provide scoring when Nash leaves
14. Meyers Leonard - MIL would shore up its front line with Leonard

Note 1: Not fixed yet - will change as we get closer to the draft.

Note 2: Jazz misses out on trading Jefferson as Lillard, Rivers and Marshall all off the board at #12.

Wow... you definitely know something we don't. Curry & Rivers backcourt? Didn't they just traded away Ellis????

I think Curry/Rivers make a lot of sense. Curry is a PG who can play off the ball very effectively. Rivers won't be on Ellis level of ball-hoggery either. I just saw Rivers shoot up mock drafts and figured why not. It makes sense to me more than most other players the Warriors have available to them at the time. Also I could see MJackson loving Rivers.

Isn't K Thompson Warriors starting SG now?
Why would they take Rivers?

Because there aren't any SF's left unless they believes one of the Jones boys can play SF or they want to reach for Harkless or Miller.

Cy and the webbewbz all on my lap again...

Why don't we put a fin on it to make it interesting? Higher weighting to getting post 7 or 8 right?

I think it's more likely they move Klay to SF and draft Lamb or Waiters (my pick) to fill the SG role. That'll give them a bit more size cos you're already getting shooting from Klay & Curry.

A line up of Curry-Rivers-Klay is just so small....

.. unless they're planning on bringing back Nelly.

PG - 6'3
SG - 6'5
SF - 6'7

Yeah, that is such a small backcourt. Sarcasm.
