Following potential 2012 draftees

How no one's posted about the Pistons Bobcat trade?
That has to change the draft and future trade picture.

No, Bobcats will still draft Thomas Robinson and the Pistons still need a defensive center or wing player.

Meh, Miller can go to whoever he pleases. Not going to be in the NBA in 4 years due to either medical or skill reasons.

Quincy Miller is going to be the next Austin Daye, but with medical issues.

I'm told that as many as nine 1st round prospects have medical red-flags that could impact their standing. Could be a rough night for some.

Whatever happened to that trade that we allegedly agreed to with GSW, but terms would not be known until draft night?

PKM was that you who reported that? Any further rumblings there?

I'm grasping for straws at this point.

Yes. That was me. That was the 2nd time I was told a deal with GST was 'done.' I followed up and was told it's still done .. but everything has been SILENT for about a week, no talking. So, I don't know.

Still interesting to see if it happens, I forgot all about it.

Did you ever find out the details of the trade? I'm betting it was their second rounder + maybe cash to ensure a pick this year

I know the details of the first, unsuccessful attempt (as I've outlined here multiple times). I do not, however know anything about the 2nd deal.

Sources say Spurs, ATL, OKC all trying to move up to land Beal. Spurs know it will take a lot to get to #2 or 3, and if they're that high on him then Jazz should consider offering a lot for him too.

I'd do Kanter for Beal straight up. Extend Millsap to play alongside Favors.

I must have missed the details on the first attempt in this forum somewhere....

Can't believe Beal's getting that much hype. He's 34% from 3..and he's supposed to be a shooter.

I am not sure kanter would enjoy this.

Freak touched on this in his interview with Locke.

Kanter & Favors are both Center in his opinion (Favors struggled guarding stretch 4 to the perimeter).

So even though we've always viewed Kanter & Favors as our corner stone at C and PF, I'd trade Kanter for a proven player (say Rondo) or a stud rookie (Beal). May be give up a bit more to get Rondo and get something back as well for Beal.
