What's new

Welcome back to Salt Lake - Mo Williams

I do think the Jazz should've received extra incentive for taking 8.5 million dollars in salary, but it's not an extreme loss if they don't. Just slightly disappointed.

Maybe they're still working on that aspect of it. But I agree that if the Jazz just get Mo Williams in exchange for a trade exception, he can still help the team and it's not a huge loss.

Does anybody think the Mavs trades for Jared Cunningham, Bernard James, and Jae Crowder so they could keep all three? What say you, Verlin?

If Hayward can pony-up his 3pt shooting for the entire year, we could have 2 elite 3pt shooters starting in our backcourt. Pretty awesome.

Don't they want some really cheap contracts so they can go after Super-Stars?

ditto that. hard to imagine they couldn't at least squeeze a future pick out of this. that's why i'm kinda miffed that mo delayed the deal until after the draft; i think it would have been easier to include something if the three teams went into the draft knowing this was going to be completed.

Plus Murphy on the bench.

We've upgraded our 3pt shooting in a big way these 2 days.

Murphy has to be able to get playing time though (and prove he can hit NBA 3). With Williams and Hayward we have two guys who should be seeing 30+ minutes and will hit the 3 at a high rate.

I'm excited Mo Williams is coming back to Utah, but am trying to figure out how big of an upgrade he is over D. Harris. I think he's a decent upgrade, obviously better than D. Harris. Happy, but I'm not going nuts over it. Ignore the attachment.

At Portsmouth - where I heard he was tearing it up - I wonder if they were playing with the NBA 3's over there?

Does anyone know?

Lol watch that video on that link of Stephen A Smith defending Odom.

"He didn't quit he was just really depressed." Give me a break Smith, Odom is a ****ing cry baby who quit on a team because he was sad he wasn't in LA.

don't know whats going on with odom last year.
but if he had depression. its a real thing, you can try your hardest to do your bets but wont be able to.

but on the other hand odom might jyst have quit

which is better under that scenario:
(a) getting cheap contracts and paying them
(b) getting cheap contracts and shipping them out
?

I don't think you want three rookies of that ilk. That's a lot.
