I collect beer bottle caps. Started a few years ago. I had any idea to make a coffee table or some type of furniture out of them. Unfortunately, drinking beer is much easier than making ****, so my collection has grown to probably in the 10's of thousands. I could fill 3 or 4 5 gallon buckets with bottle caps, hundreds of different kinds from all over the world. Whenever friends or family go on vacation they always save me their caps and bring them home. I bet I got enough to every wall in a bedroom, floor to ceiling. Someday I will do something with them, until then it's just an excuse to keep drinking beer.
Ha .. I did this about 7 or 8 years ago and made a killer beer pong table with the top being the caps .. cool design too.
That gap, by the way, has about as many posts as I have.
Ironically, that same number is also the approximate number of posts you require to make your next 'good' post.
I just placed a layer of shellac, placed the caps, then topped with plexi.
That table is back in Kentucky .. I have a terrible little table I made (UK) here in STG .. maybe we should play a few games and build your table.

Ya know, I've been throwing around the idea of a Jazz logo table made out of beer caps, I'm pretty sure I've got enough of every color. Just lack the motivation/ability. Also I don't wanna put a ton of work into this things and have them change their logo again in a few seasons.
