Have u ever texted The wrong person by accident

My wife switched phone carriers and was having her number switched over so she had a temporary number assigned during the switch for a couple days. She plugged it into my phone but then didn't delete it. Anyway, fast forward about 8 months and she's out of town and I send her some media (something I wouldn't want to be sent elsewhere) and she later tells me she never got it. Lo and behold I look back in my phone and since her name (the short version) is associated with that old number I realize it got sent to someone else. Found out it was an active number and left a message telling them what happened. Never heard anything, thank goodness. Was worried the phone belonged to some 12 year old girl or something.

Oh, sorry, I guess lapses come more and more with age. I never actually brought it to his attention. He used to cheat on his wife all the time so I'm sure that the text was meant for someone other than her (or me). I didn't really see a need to bring it up and ask him who he was trying to text because it was none of my business.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news and have to put two and two together for you but it sounds like your boss is/was banging your wife. He probably hit your name instead of hers when he went to text her that he loved her, one of his many conquests you admitted he had.

Not really bad but funny to those in the know. I have a really bad cussing problem but am able to limit it somewhat to certain situations (trying to do better). Coaching a team at the Ute Shoot about a month ago and the head coach texts me wanting to know how things are going. No it wasn't my HC it was my sister who had a son playing there. But I wasn't playing close attention and responded too quickly. I text back "Cooper is "effing" good. But I send it to my sister instead who has never heard me say a single cussword.

I think something that will help is getting custom sounds/vibs for certain contacts.
 
i sent a text that described a graphic, sexy, and strange dream over two paragraphs long over to the wrong girl. She asked me about the next day and almost died laughing. My gf on the other hand didn't find it very funny.

I got a single buddy who is a player (at age 48 no less) and mis-texts all the time. I gotta think it's mostly an issue for single people. Maybe if you text a lot with your job.
 
I accidentally sent a nude picture of myself to my mom. Wow, was that embarrassing. I was REALLY shocked when she sent one back.

That's way funny. A couple of guys I work with joked once about making up some shirts that said, "Bob Jones (not my boss' real name) slept with my wife and all I got was this lousy t-shirt".
 
A few months back I meant to text a friend about going to a movie, but accidentally texted the wrong number. I'm now dating the the wrong number girl.
 
I once got a text from some guy's mother accusing him of stealing money from his father and that she was calling the police if the money was returned by that evening.

I texted her back that she had the wrong number which she thought was her son just ****ing with her. I thought oh well, I did my part - but my too nice wife actually called the woman to explain she was texting the wrong person.

Oh man, golden opportunity wasted! I would've texted back, "You know what, Mom? Go **** yourself. And just so you know, I found dads secret stash of gay porn and his vibrators. I'm taking this money and going to Vegas to FINALLY be with Richard! Die DEVIL WOMAN!"
