The sad thing about Collins is he showed a nice mid-range jumper as a rookie and was actually a pretty solid offensive player next to Stockton and Malone...after his knee injury his accuracy declined and so did whatever quickness he possessed (he wasn't quick but he also wasn't a plodder in 2002 either). Defensively he became a poor man's version of his brother - solid a positional defender who drew charges - just not quite as big and not as effective.Basically he was a supremely non-athletic player who was smart enough to know how to take charges and pass the ball. He had 0 offensive skills and wasn't really good at anything. I guess he was super nice to everybody so we kept him on for a long *** time. Basically everything Simms is. Simms is probably a little bit longer, but other than that they seem identical to me.
Wow this sucks for Carroll he has been in the league for years. Summer league for him is a slap in the face.
Most of these players have absolutely no chance to make our roster.
I seem Sims and Simmons have an outside chance at becoming an emergency big man for us.
Weaver has been here before and can play a bunch of positions be cannot shoot.
Deron Washington was a freak athlete who may have knocked the rough edges off his game. I see those two getting a real looks as emergency wings if we lose someone for the season.
Slap in the face? He wouldn't have been on a team in 2011-2012 if it wasn't for the Jazz picking him up. He was a fringe NBA player before that.
He's only a 3-year vet.Wow this sucks for Carroll he has been in the league for years. Summer league for him is a slap in the face.
OMG! Michael Stockton weighs nothing!

I missed some names. Names that make me happy:
and introducing:
Ok, so only one name that intrigues me, Henry Sims. If AJ is gone I would love to add him. Low risk, high reward.
