Considering atl wants to make a move for cp3 and dwight in the summer of 2013. Apparently Dwight and josh smith are best friends. So this is what I propose

3 way a little hard for me considering the trade but here goes

Atl trade al horford to Utah

Utah trade either Jefferson or millsap to Houston (who ever Houston wants)
Trades the remaining person to atl.

Houston sends t jones to Utah and Royce white to atl. (it could be Marcus Morris too)

Atl does this because now horford is off the books and they easily have the money to sign d13 and cp3. They get a young player to put around their new big 3. There would also get a draft pick in this too.

Houston does this because they got screwed in the Howard sweepstakes and need a good vet to start to build around. They wanted millsap before not sure why him over Jefferson, probably because Jefferson and Scola would be awful defensively.

Utah does this because we get rid of the log jam at the bigs and the 3 big rotation of favors horford and kanter would be down right sick for the next decade. The loss of millsap would hurt but jones has a very similar skill set.

Williams , tinsley, Watson
Hayward, burks, murphy
Williams, jones, Carroll
Favors, Evans
Horford, kanter, sims (yes he makes it from the summer league the new Wes Matthews)

I don't hate it but it doesn't make me extremely happy either. The players that I would want in his trade would be White and Horford.

If we could land both and move both Jefferson and Millsap in this then I would even consider moving the GST pick.

A starting line up of Favors and Horford would be great to watch, and then you would bring Kanter and White off the bench. What is not to like about this?
 
Better chance Horford+ for Howard goes down.

How about Kanter & GSW pick for Dwight Howard rental? Would be a hella fun 1/2 year where Jazz make an assload of money off fans like me who haven't stepped inside the soon to no longer be Energy Solutions Arena in years. Then trade his bipolar *** at the deadline for best package available (not trout's).
 
id Soil myself if we somehow got terrence Jones he is My favorite player in the draft I think. Ant will be the best Pro but I think Jones will be 2nd

There is a chance, though, that Orlando wouldn't want Horford's contract, but instead wants to tear the whole ****er down, get some high draft picks, and rebuild with mega cap space.

In other words, yes, Horford goes to Orlando, but then gets re-routed?
 
I'm probably too high on Millsap, but his mid-range game really complements Favors and Kanter well.

Just simplify this all by trading Jefferson to Houston for White and a future first. White will play SF, right?

Jones has a high ceiling .. but also a somewhat low floor. He's not mantally as tough as he needs to be .. but has the size and skill.

I think Horford is a steal at his contract which declines in real terms every year, but I can see why you wouldn't want to not completely start over with the spot they're in.

It's really too bad neither ATL or Brooklyn have anything left to offer the Jazz. The GSW pick could be the final package piece necessary in getting Orlando to trade Howard.
