5. He gets a really cool new nickname - The Big Ice Berg Shake Shaq.
4. Use him as an example to the team of how not to shoot free throws.
3. They could have Ostertag come and welcome him to the organization.
2. It's the only place where his rapper skills would be an improvement of what is already in place?
1. After the Jazz resign Fez for like 5 years they have him (mentored) by Shaq daddy.

All those reasons except #1 are reasons why we shouldnt bring him in.

Yes I know. I was just going to put the #1 reason. I just thought the others were too funny - so I had to add them.

I wouldn't mind bringing in Shaq for 5M a year and have him 'coach' Fes. I don't think there is much left in the Diesel's tank, but I'm sure he would do wonders for Fesenko, seeing that Fes looks up to Shaq.
 
Really the biggest issue I see with Shaq being on the Jazz would be, he'd be taking time away from Millsap or Jefferson. If Shaq comes in, he'll want to get a decent amount of minutes, even though he probably won't deserve them at this point in his career. We getting Jefferson, and Re-signing Millsap a year ago are showing that we are willing and ready to make the commitment to them. Ya, we need someone at the 5, at least to backup Big Al, but we don't need someone who's going to take away a lot of his minutes either.

Big Al says he has no problem playing the 5. He's played the 5 most of his career. He doesn't care. Shaq might still have some power and size over Al, but I'm thinking at this point in the Jazz life-cycle, Big Al has to be the man. I really feel, he's going to show some stuff that we haven't seen on the Jazz in a long time. Shot blocking, like AK used to, when he was an All-Star, and some nice "Hammer" dunks at the basket, like the Mailman used to bring. And of course, now we've got Al and Raja, we can get Nasty.
