I want it ALL!!!!!!

Burks looked great. Kanter had his moments. I keep liking what I see with Murphy. I think the kid can play. Stockton didn't play much and probably had his worse game. Evans was quiet today but had a big dunk at the end of the game. The rest of the group showed why they are in summer league.

Listening to you all it makes me wonder how much we will see Mo Williams at the point with Burks and Hayward at the wings and how the passing of that group will look.

Burks can not play PG in the NBA, no need to overrate the summer league. He does not have neither handling ability of PG nor view for the passes. In fact he is generally obsessive to go to the rim instead of finding open man. It seems he is gonna be Corey Maggette type of player who draws fouls very well and find points but not in less attempt

This was my first look at Murphy. He's a player. I liked his drive to the basket on the left side, where he cleared out some space with his shoulder and finished at full speed. I already knew he could shoot, but I didn't know he could do that. Good sign.

I'm sorry, are you talking about Russell Westbrook?

I think Maggette is a good comparison, but Burks is a bit of a better passer than you give him credit for. Let's not get carried away in either direction, but Maggette would be nice. (And a great player if he is your 3-4th option)

I got to watch the last 5 min. That was nice to see the "stars" close out the game. Burks was the best player by far on the floor. Murphy had a nice drive. Evans came in and played solid D but got called for a weak foul. I think Kanter will be a good player. It will take time but he's very young and raw. I will enjoy watching him grow into the game.

I am probably being too hard on Kanter. I would like him to succeed. I just have been hoping for more. When I think about Favors (3rd pick), I see potential greatness/all-star potential. When I think about Kanter (3rd pick), I see "serviceable big man."

What else was there? Jimmer was on the board at the time.

I think the thing about Kanter is that he's not playing the game, he's thinking through it...going through the low post moves, pick and rolls, etc.
When he's comfortable enough with what he's learning and thinking through, he'll start playing the game and using those moves without thinking through them. That's the idea with this summer league and his training.
It'll take time, hopefully it's worth it. He's got a good work ethic and should be very smart as well based on his life when he was younger.
