Sponsorhip Patches - Who would you like to see on Jazz's jersey?!?!

Just watched the conference concerning this and Adam Silver says that early projections claim this would make teams, on average, $100 million per season. They also said that this won't be happening until the season after next.
 
1) Larry Miller's Obituary.
2) That chick from the Progressive commercials, Flo. Her big mug on a 2x2 patch would be AWESOME!
3) Dave Ballou for City Counsel.
 
Also, it would have been great to have "Charmin" on our jerseys during the Boozer, Okur, and AK era.

It was only a matter of time before it happened. The world's most popular sport has been doing it for years now and that hasn't seemed to lower popularity of the game. Honestly, I'm surprised they haven't implemented it yet, I'm sure 90% of the owners are scratching at the bit for it.

I would think there would be some kind of pool since teams will be advertising in other team's arenas, just not their own.

You mean the sponsors, netwroks and the corporations that buy the luxury boxes?
 
Wonder what happens if sponsorships conflict with religious/moral beliefs.

Could you see Jimmer wearing a jersey advertising Trojans?

So would it be a different sponsor for each team, or 1 big sponsor for the nba as a whole?.... in other words would every team have the same sponsor on thier jerseys or each team have thier own sponsor?

If every team has thier own sponsor then i would see the big markets getting the richest sponsors and the jazz getting zions bank or something, in which case is seems that the rich would just get richer.

I think each team would get their own but the money from the sponsors would be distributed out by stern. Based on a percentage.

So you're saying I'm right?

There is no way this doesn't widen the gap unless the pool is distributed 100% evenly.
