I'll always love the purple jerseys because of the history and memories...
...that said - I never want to see them worn again by a current or future Jazz squad. Just not aesthetically pleasing...and whenever I see the black ones I think of disappointing road playoff losses (1-12 record when wearing the black unis in the playoffs). The 80's/early 90's jerseys/logo is the best option...but that's essentially what we're wearing (plus the green alternates).
I guess this is the problem with adapting your current jerseys off throwback jerseys, you eventually run out of throwback jerseys to use for throwback jersey night.

I blocked it out. Because they did still have that horrible rust trim + the equally horrible non-music-note Jazz font. Ick.
All the 90's re-jerseying was crap. So glad they've got new jerseys.

This was the very first jersey I ever had. I wore that jersey all through middle school. I don't think it looks THAT bad.

My first ever jersey was a Deshawn Stevenson one of this kind and my next one was a Andrei Kirilienko one of this kind, I like these. The black and copper one's aren't that bad either in my opinion.

There's a little confusion, because at first I read that the Jazz would be wearing these (based on the Adidas catalog leak) but then I read that they were only in the "retail" section of the catalog, separate from the "on the court" section, with "on the court" being the retros that will actually see the court next year, meaning the Jazz's alts might not actually be used.

I saw that just a bit ago. To me it wouldn't make a lot of sense to to bring back the old jerseys from a bunch of teams to retail only without the teams wearing them at least a few times. Time will tell if we really do get to see these on the court again. I really hope we do.
