I'm convinced, bring in Mejri

I can't sleep so I turned on the Tunisia v Argentina game. I have to say I am very impressed with Mejri.

He is shutting down Scola's as well as most of Argentina. He has 4 blocks in the first quarter. These are not FIBA blocks, these are legit NBA blocks.

It is not just defensively. He has two mid range shots, one from the corner and one from the elbow that he knocked down. He also had two blow by dunks on Scola and Argentina.

He also had one play that he came from the opposite side of the court to get a rebound that was falling out of bounds and was able to save it to a teammate.

I am not saying that he would be amazing right now, but he would certainly be worth the pick up as a 3rd center for this team.

Good to hear; I liked him in the first couple Summer League games, but then he didn't get on the floor after that; I assumed he had an injury. Only thing I DIDN'T like was his Andre Kirilenko imitation trying to dribble thru traffic. At 7'1", just keep the ball HIGH, dude...
LOL; maybe KoC sat him because he didn't want to give other NBA teams more video on him:D

He has only had the dribble drive thing twice. I wonder if he was trying to do too much in summer league.

I'd say bring him in. Especially if Big Al or Millsap go out in a trade. We would need a back up C and to a lesser extent PF in that case.

He is not perfect. He has taken two 3 pointers. Both have been off he mark. That is why he would mostly be a bench big.

We don't need him. We already have Big Al, Raja Bell and Earl Watson. That's $20.5 million for next season.
